The story has potential, but some of the characters, particularly the lead, are not particularly likeable or relatable. The protagonist is inconsistent, shallow and a bit weak. The story is entertaining overall, but not amazing.

Really loved this book. would recommend to anyone. A true murder mystery with unexpected ending.

Loved this with its many twists and turns that kept you guessing as long as possible. Although the main character came across as too much of a goody two shoes and a little undeliverable at times. Did find the ending contrived as if the writer was trying to get as many possibles in the story as feasible but it was a jolly good read.

So badly written, very amateur and positively cringeworthy at times. Listened this after a William Boyd book and they were worlds apart! Don’t bother with this one.
