The 2nd book was amazing, so happy there read by same person. Roller-coaster story, such good characters and a thrilling who done it.

Enjoyed the plot and even though the narrator has a good voice I could barely stand some of the characterizations. Most of her “other” characters sounded like little children or squeaky adults. Pity.

This is so different from Jane Tennison and trial and Retribution it is hard to believe it is the same author. The story was very clever but I wanted to hate it because it was set in America. This is part two of a trilogy but it seems like a good place to stop.
If you don’t mind a winey American voice then give it a go it is very clever.
