Summary
Rookie detective Anna Travis has been assigned to her first murder case - a series of killings that has shocked even the most hardened on the force. Over the past eight years there have been six victims - all women from similar backgrounds, all killed in an identical way. Then a seventh body is found, but this one doesn't fit the pattern.
Anna is determined to earn the respect of her male colleagues, and find justice for the victims, but when a vital piece of information links a high-profile suspect to the killings she is faced with a difficult choice. As a figure in the public eye, his arrest would cause a media frenzy. But if he is innocent, Anna's hard-fought-for reputation would be destroyed once and for all.

Annoying shouting of Langton
Very good narration except for the annoying shouting of Langton Character. Story very good and fast moving.

Good story, bad narration
I struggled through to the end but the narration is awful. The voices of all the male characters are dreadful, slow and emotionless. it wouldn't of been half bad, with a decent narrator.

Loved this once I got used to the narration
Great story which got me hooked, glad I stuck with it as nearly gave up early on as the narration took some getting used to.

What another amazing book by Lynda .

Narration was irritating
The narration was poor for some of the characters. The males were either buffoons or shouted a lot.I thought a fairly good story and we just about listened to the whole book. Really sorry I have the next in the series in my library.
