About this listen

Rookie detective Anna Travis has been assigned to her first murder case - a series of killings that has shocked even the most hardened on the force. Couldn’t stop listening. I was on the edge of my seat for days. I really liked the narration, and the different accents - could really imagine these characters in life. My favourite type of book is crime and murder so this ticked all the boxes!Starting book 2 now!

This is darker and more sinister than previous Le Plante audiobooks. Nevertheless, it is an enjoyable listen with the new character Anna Travis who is ably supported the other new characters. It keeps you guessing until the end.
