This is a new author for me and was hooked very quickly, love Jonathan Keeble's naration

I really enjoyed this book. My first by the author. Well written with good description of characters and surroundings. Storyline was interesting and easy to follow. This coupled with Jonathan Keeble narrating makes it doubly good as he could read the telephone directory and make it interesting. Off to download the next one 🤗

I guessed who did it a third of the way through. However this does not detract from the fact that this is a brilliant novel with excellent characterisation and plot. Absolutely loved it and can’t wait to listen to the next one.

Absolutely brilliant, fast moving, with lots of twists and turns. Itotally unexpected ending! I usually listen while doing something but I simply had to stop and listen !
Just getting to know David Blake’s books having listened to his, St Benets and I am now a big fan!

There are no towpaths on the Broads - they are only found on canals where horses ‘towed’ narrow boats. The editor should have spotted this.
