About this listen

A CHILLING NORFOLK BROADS CRIME THRILLER!

A body found hidden at the bottom of an open church grave, a suspect running in a local election, and a political opponent, willing to do whatever it takes to win.

Set within the mysterious beauty of the Norfolk Broads, this fast-paced British detective series is a dark cozy Norfolk murder mystery with a slice of humour and a touch of romance, one that will have you guessing until the very end, when the last shocking twist is finally revealed.

Swanton Morley is a totally addictive gripping crime thriller, the eleventh in a chilling series of serial killer books, ones which will rapidly convert followers of L J Ross, Faith Martin, Joy Ellis, Damien Boyd, J M Dalgliesh, and Elly Griffiths into David Blake devotees.©2024 David Blake (P)2024 W.F. Just finished listening to this cracking story in the DCI John Tanner series and I am already eagerly awaiting the next book.
Really enjoyed the plot but confess I did much better than our intrepid Detective in working out the truth.
Nice to have him and his team with usual frustrations and humour.
Good narration as always.
(On the narration side - did wonder if perhaps John’s voice had become too gravelly-sounding?)

I really enjoy these David Blake novels. Plots are always strong and characterisation is particularly good. Jonathan Keeble’s narration truly excellent as always.
