Very easy to digest. I found it very empowering and showing how smaller amount of the brain we use. That we are not set in stone - we can change and we are changing ...

There’s a lot to recommend this book if you know nothing about the brain and you’re interested in developing its potential for your lifetime.

It’s well structured and dynamic, peppered with insightful case studies.

It’s strength is also its weakness; it’s an overview so you’ll find yourself craving more if you’re a professional in any area related to brain health.

But would I recommend it to my 80 year old mum? Yes. Absolutely.

Strong basic guide to the brain

I enjoyed this book and learned a few things too.
It’s interesting to hear the author’s story and to get insight into what it’s like to be a brain surgeon.
As well as being interesting and enjoyable, it also contains various advice.
Ideally I would have liked it to have contained more that I could learn from or go into more depth of more areas. I found it a bit slow in that sense as each sub story took quite some time and didn’t go into much depth.

Interesting and enjoyable

It was a pleasure to listen to this book. Even though the subject is a complex one, the author makes it accessible for nearly everyone.

With stories, but to the point.
