What made the experience of listening to Young Bond: Hurricane Gold the most enjoyable?

The plot comes thick and fast, never time to catch your breath. We usually listen in the car, but had to finish this one back in the house as we couldn't wait. The whole family enjoyed it and a long journey flew by.

What did you like best about this story?

The setting is exotic, far away from Eton, and originally I thought we'd miss some of the characters, but there wasn't time to.

What about Nathaniel Parker’s performance did you like?

Nathaniel Parker has a great voice, love his performance because you never notice it as a "performance". None of the voices jar, so you can just get lost in the story.

Amazing, I could not stop listening, it was exciting and interesting at every chapter, Nathaniel Parker narrated brilliantly.

Hurricane gold filled me with both dread and excitement throughout. When bond became the hero once again I almost wanted to laugh at his childish pride. The story slightly patchy in parts but still great.

Pretty good story, well narrated. High body count and pretty gruesome, especially for Mexicans, who are more-or-less universally disposable in this book. Ho-hum, I’m sure there are plenty of books by Mexican authors with Latino heroes rampaging around the wilds of England destroying innocent locals as they go!
