Summary

Howie’s group disembark from the Isle of Wight, but when the ferry they take breaks down they climb aboard a Royal Navy supply vessel at anchor outside Portsmouth Harbour to find a huge horde of undead. We meet Maddox and a group of council estate children who have survived the apocalypse by taking refuge in a cannabis plantation.

When a horde of undead attack the children, Howie tries to save them only to find they turn on him. Eventually a truce is called, and an uneasy alliance begins to develop.

So far, this is just outstanding, the way the story moves along and how the people he meets along the way become a part of it, his terrible and incredible luck and getting into sticky situations and somehow surviving, with much hilarity.
I love these books!

Didn’t like this one quite as much at first because of the new povs but they did become interesting as an examination of the duality of the human mind, ended up adoring it as usual!

Really enjoyed this the story flew past, very little in the way of down time, I think this may be the most intensive nine days in littory history. I will be getting the rest of the installments
