the story finished just as it got going, half the usual length for more cash and a very long wait.

The prologue was a fantastic compliment to the back-story but it was ~20% of the entire book! A 1 hour prologue would be fine if it were 10 - 15 hour book but it wasn't. it was a 5 hour book. The remaining 4 hours had quite a bit of repetition and didn't really add much. A couple of interesting twists at the very end but I think one of them could be the undoing of this whole series. Hopefully I'm wrong about that.

As for this new format, it looks as though this could be the fanbase being tested as a cash cow.

No real progression of the main plot

As a loyal supporter of all the books, this fell short in length and any real progression in the story,if you were a newcomer to the story I don’t think you would go back to start the series or move forward with it.
Sorry feeling a little short changed with this one
Hopefully the next book will get as back on track.

I know I’ll always love these story’s, it never disappoints. The great banter and dialogue between the characters. It’s just a shame I felt a bit short changed in the length of this one hence the reason for 4 stars Overall

I got 22 books in only to find the content time has halved. abit of a money grab really and indication the writer is running out of material this halving his books. poor show by this stage you had enough money out of me. think I will stop here
