About this listen

After cutting through the fences in the safari park and an epic battle between a gorilla and a lion, Howie and his group make it back to the fort.

Day 14 culminates with a vicious battle during a storm so huge it changes the landscape around them, leaving Nick with no choice but to tackle the doctor and his men alone.

This is another great installment in the story of the Living Army.
The safari park adventure is mainly hilarious as the group move through the wild animal areas but with a touch of sadness too. This part of the story is mixed in with Lily and Nick's meeting and the terrible sadness there.
The story develops well and despite the number of characters it never feels overwhelming as each is given space to develop.

Lions and Tigers and Bears

The idea that a book is a day makes every moment relevant, which is an interesting idea.
