About this listen

An ancient secret lies buried in Earth’s religions. Magical beings once ruled our planet. Man has forgotten them, but they are coming back.

Their plan for mankind? Enslavement.

An ancient curse banished them from the realm of man...now that curse grows weak, and they are finding their way back.

They are powerful, immortal, and unstoppable, but they don’t know everything. They left some of their magic behind, and their return has sparked an awakening.

Heroes must rise...some will fall.

The Realm of False Gods features multiple protagonists, their stories overlapping and intertwining as the planet rushes toward a cataclysm no one can see.

The story is great but the Narrator gave me a headache. Sorry but didn't enjoy. Maybe a different Narrator next time.

I enjoyed this trilogy of books . its got great potential and kept me listening.
however throught the book several times I nearly stopped due to the poor quality narration .
it made the listen a slog as some words seamed slurred and mumbled . a real shame as I would have liked to have listened to more in the series but the narrator Tim toddhurst absolutely spoilt it for me

terrible narrator

The story was original and kept me hooked despite the terrible narration. The narration was very bad from a clarity point of view but also technically with long stretches that had a ‘hiss’ every time the narrator spoke. I almost stopped listening and returned the book.

I can recommend the story but be sure you can live with the narrator before purchase.
