a very good collection of books

it took me a while to get used to the narrator and honestly I struggled to remember what each species looked like as there are alot ...but despite that I very much enjoyed these books and the narrator was also very good once I got used to her

Fantastic!!!

Absolutely amazing! Definitely worth the Credit. I hope the books 7-11 will also be available. The narrative is captivating from start to finish. I will definitely buy these books as hard copy as well.

excellent!

loved this series. brilliant story and very well narrated. sorry to hear the other books haven't been narrated yet . let's hope the people in charge see sense and get it done. Will look forward to hearing them

Fantastic story and world.

Loved all 90 hours and 34 minutes of it and for just one credit its amazing value. The characters and the vastness of the story really keeps you listening.

90 hours for 1 credit is excellent value for money

Fantastic new perspective in the swords and sorcery genre. Mostly non-human characters, with racial intrigue, disease and prophesy. That all sounds like a winning combo right?

Well, and I'm super critical here, the author shied away from making the phycological aspects effect the characters more, after a cry they just sort of got over it stoically. I thought there could be more depth to the characters themselves and I don't know what colour most of the characters were or what exactly they looked like, I would have liked to have more description.

But I'm being quite harsh, overall a good 90 hours, enjoyable but not amazing.

Imaginatively created World

Very well delivered, the narrator tells the story well, giving the characters enough depth and difference to be able to tell them apart.
The world is well created and the characters are given enough depth to make them believable, which is impressive considering the main protagonists and races are non human.
The story carries you along at a good pace, with a few twists, but the author falls into the trap of not quite taking the twists far enough.
It has the feel of an extension of a D&D story, but the strength of the writing carries you as a reader through and past both this and some annoying character traits.
All in all, well written and performed, entertaining and interesting enough to follow the story further.

Absolute Bargain!

6 books for one credit, so I was skeptical and half expected it to be a bit rubbish. Boy was I wrong! Okay so the first half hour I was confused but no more than any other fantasy series on a new world with different species of people and it was not long before I was hooked. Kari is fantastic character as are the collection of friends and family she picks up along her way. Sadly this is not the complete series though and as of today the rest are not available on audible, I hope they do come soon though because I need them and you do too!

To much love story

I finished it to hear the story, but it felt cumbersome.
50% love story interactions. 20% the main character getting complemented or reassured. 10% the character doubting itself, 20% story.
