Story
It’s not easy making the career jump from office-supplies-store middle manager to heroic interdimensional adventurer. At least, Jason tries to be heroic, but it's hard to be good when all your powers are evil. He’ll face off against cannibals, cultists, wizards, monsters...and that’s just on the first day. He’s going to need courage, he’s going to need wit, and he’s going to need some magic powers of his own. But first, he’s going to need pants.

Story
Reborn into a fantastical RPG-system based world, Fresh is offered a second chance at life. Initially glad to have escaped her old existence, she quickly realizes that this new one might not be much better. Her new body is too frail to follow any grand dreams of adventure, her new mind is too dulled to allow any meticulous planning or thought, and this new, seemingly colorful, kind world is anything but.

Story
Gregory and his wives fought honorably and hard to advance to the finals, where their last fight was against the Eternal Flame. With their rigorous training and communication, they managed to defeat the arrogant clan, letting them stand alongside their novice friends as champions. The excitement of being the champions wasn’t the happiest part of their year, though. That came after the tournament, when all five of their friends—Nessa, Daciana, Victoria, Clover, and Ling—joined Aether’s Guard.

Story
A teenage mage of humble birth and slightly above-average skill, Zorian is attending his third year of education at Cyoria's magical academy. A driven and quiet young man, he is consumed by a desire to ensure his own future and free himself of the influence of his family, resenting the Kazinskis for favoring his brothers over him. Consequently, Zorian has no time for pointless distractions, much less other people's problems.

A man. His ex-girlfriend's cat. A sadistic game show unlike anything in the universe: a dungeon crawl where survival depends on killing your prey in the most entertaining way possible. In a flash, every human-erected construction on Earth - from Buckingham Palace to the tiniest of sheds - collapses in a heap, sinking into the ground. The buildings and all the people inside have all been atomized and transformed into the dungeon: an 18-level labyrinth filled with traps, monsters, and loot.

Story
I was in my garage, when the space elves addressed the whole world. They didn't call themselves space elves, of course, but most humans struggled to pronounce Khjurhnalva. They had a message for us: Forces that had eradicated their species' males were heading for Earth. The space elves offered us access to the System, as cooperation was vital to the survival of both our species. I, Mathew, know all of the above is bullshit. I saw the truth with my own eyes, heard it from their beautiful, deceitful mouths. No one believes me, though. A planet-wide, survival reality show? Ridiculous.

Jin Rou wanted to be a cultivator. A man powerful enough to defy the heavens. A master of martial arts. A lord of spiritual power. Unfortunately for him, he died, and now I’m stuck in his body. Arrogant Masters? Heavenly Tribulations? All that violence and bloodshed? Yeah, no thanks. I’m getting out of here. Farm life sounds pretty great. Tilling a field by hand is fun when you’ve got the strength of ten men—though maybe I shouldn’t have fed those Spirit Herbs to my pet rooster.

For more than 150 years I've served the Kingdom of Sena. Through four kings and a queen. Two wars and a rebellion. I've founded and taught at a magic school. I've fought against beast waves and dungeon breaks. But now? Now, the one close friend I had left has passed. So, I'm done with their politics and their economics. The short and busy lives of humans are more burden than benefit on the weary soul of this half-elf.

Only to repeat the pattern over and over and over. Life was as mundane as anyone could ever fear it to be. Today was the day that all that would change. On this day, his daughter Maya would be nearly fatally injured, plunging Warner into a world of paranormal creatures, monsters, and magic he’d never known existed. goblins Goblins GOBLINS!!!
Alliance’s are made, story’s are told, and friendship’s are forged and reinforced.
Bigger plan’s are being made.
I don’t want to spoil it for you but, this story is far from from the end.
It brings something’s to a conclusion and leaves many more open.
I don’t know how many more books Pirate Aba has, but I feel that we’re only half way through this epic fantasy. It’s simply awesome.

I love this series, this author and this narrator! I’ve been a long time fan of The Wandering Inn and it’s only made better with this excellent narration. Wow..bummer
I was counting the days for months for this book. I love this series but I'm so disappointed. Its literally side stories and history. Rioka wasn't really in it, Erin was hardly in it. A whole lot about Goblins..prob half the book. Erin's part was all about taking care of Goblins. Then the Ant side story took quite a bit of the book, then more Goblin King history. A little with the Lincoln side story. The clown part 2 ugh. I was so excited for this book my hubby was laughing at me. I love this author and narrator but this story was so boring :(
I've already pre-ordered the next one hoping there is more about the main characters..ie..does Rioka level or learn to run like the wind? Does she get a fairy class? I'd love to see Erin level and do something more. I seriously don't care about the goblins daily lives. Maybe rags growing or something new. Oh..im just bummed :(

Dull and ridiculous! Waited a year for this?
I hoped they'd delve into some plot lines and either advance them or finish them up... but this is just meandering dreck ... and an insane clown class? PLEASE? WHY? I guess "they" write it for free .. but there is no there there! The story has no thread anymore. Going nowhere after 6 books and many hours you'll never get back! Wish they'd try a better narrator as well.

I love this series. Their books never disappoint! A lot of people don't like the side stories and world building but I personally really enjoy them. I feel that it fleshes out the world and what is happening in it very well. I was stoked about the clown pt2 bit. Was hoping that side story would come back into play. Just wish these books would never end. I am always do sad every time I check how much time is left because I know I will have to wait again for the next.

Imaginatively among the Starry Heavens
This is among the starry heavens, of all the parts in The Wandering Inn, broken into smaller segments for Audible. Imagination knows no bounds. Pirateaba proves that. Uniformly fascinating and mesmerizing, excluding the early "Clown" segment, who, with Flos, I dislike reading. I sped up the narration for that part, and admit the narrator helped me to dislike it slightly less. But all else in this volume--wonderful. Pirateaba has created a vast, complex, utterly compelling world. I consider it character-driven, and perhaps no other writer is as skilled as her at bringing a huge array of characters to life. Honestly, none of them are forgettable. Plotting is complex and shocking, sometimes hugely upsetting. It is a joy to be part of The Wandering Inn's world. It is sad, it is funny, it is horrible, it is amazing, it is upsetting...but most of all, it is a joy to have this world to step into. I only rank Tolkien's Legendarium higher, which I have spent a lifetime delving into, but the two worlds cannot be compared. Fantastically well-read by Andrea Parsneau. Incredible rendering of diverse characters.
