I got this book on a whim, I am so glad I did!
A man is wrenched to another world, are the people who did it using him to save it or ruin it?

A great story with good characters and sound world building. The leveling up system is easy to understand and quite intuitive. Narration, by Travis Baldree, is excellent.

Even though the story is over 20 hours long, it felt like I completed it in half the time. Can't wait for the next one!

has several common components but uses them well and includes a few genuinely novel twists and surprises that make it interesting. A little unnecessarily wordy at times really going for that thesaurus, but overall really great.

I've never read/listened to this genre. I came with a bit of skeptism, wondering why everyone gave great reviews.

Hopefully without much spoilers here, the beginning was decently interesting, and Travis definitely did an amazing job narrating the emotions of the characters.

The stat screen dump could become repetitive as others have said, but generally it shouldn't be a problem, just skip ahead

The story became more and more engaging and hooking me in as Felix other people. Every engagement he had with enemies was narrated and written very well, I've never imagined myself feeling thrilled and so emotionally engaged in a book being read aloud, much like I do with animes and other shows.

good levelling with a very interesting take on skill progression and how it effects the individual. always love royalroad stories that make it to book because you know they are this successful for a reason.
