By book 6 in a series, it is obviously a bit late to be just starting a series and if you haven't already listened to the earlier ones then you should check those out first as they are all highly enjoyable. For those who have already listened to the earlier ones in the series, this book is an easy recommendation since it provides the same quality characters, world-building and progression that you expect from this series.

Similarly, the narrator once again delivers a quality performance with a great balance of distinctive character voices and a strong overall delivery that nicely enhances the book.

Overall, a great listen for series regulars and one for series newcomers to enjoy later on.

A brilliant book and I liked we got a mix of settlement building, exploration, a deeper understanding of why Felix was summoned and more insight into the world created. The combat was well done too.

I enjoyed the intrigue and plot twists very much.

The pace of the story is good I was never bored.

I do like Pit.

The narrator did an excellent job I hope he continues to narrate this series with how busy he is.

The only thing lacking is a list and description of the skills Felix has would be handy at the start of the book. Some are easy to remember some less used ones not.

I eagerly anticipated the next audiobook.
