This series gets btter and better. I love the world building and how the characters use their skills. Much happens in this book and I look forward to the next. There is intrigue and some nice twists from what I expected to happen.

Pit was impressive in this book I loved his descriptions of people.

The narrator did an outstanding job he really is excellent. The animal sounds can't be easy and I liked his enthusiasm the pace of the narration was perfect too.

There is not too many stat sheets. Overall a most enjoyable listen.

I have received this audiobook as a free gift in exchange for an honest review.
That said, I would have gladly paid for Hunger: Unbound, Book 3— this might be the most compelling entry yet. Felix Nevar not only has to deal with the usual external threats, but now he's fighting an internal battle too, thanks to the absorbed primordial constantly testing his will and sanity. It adds a whole new layer of tension that kept me guessing. On top of that, he's finally navigating proper isekai society, which comes with its own set of challenges—politics, alliances, and learning even deeper secrets about this world that completely shifted my understanding of the series. The pacing stays fast and full of surprises, and Felix's growth feels earned on every front. The narration continues to shine, capturing both the high-stakes action and the quieter moments of doubt and resolve. It's another thrilling ride that had me fully engaged from start to finish. If you've made it this far, Book 3 absolutely delivers and then some.

I'm still enjoying the story and performance (minus pits weird too low pitched screech which I guess is a mix between a hawk and a dog? LOL) new setting with Hold and New characters being introduced. as well as new abilities. It does seem he is able to shuck off pain now to a minor inconvenience, so will be interesting to see what happens in the next volume
