I’m glad I kept going
I love Peter Kay, however felt in places that this audiobook was just a regurgitation of clips that I’d heard many times. I put it down for a few weeks but glad I went back. The stories about Ronnie Barker and the many insights into his writing process were captivating.

Fantastic book
Loved this from start to finish.
Brilliantly read by Peter. To hear about his life on television was so interesting.
I think I need to know how many times he says ‘it’s a honour’ during the book. 😂
Hearing about his admiration for Ronnie Barker to Car Share winning awards.
Peter really has told his story of on TV

Interesting
A really interesting history of Peter Kay’s tv career. This is the second book I have listened to of his, clever to have a book focussed on each of the sections of his career

Thanks Peter!
This was pure joy to listen to from start to finish. Peter's passion for his art shines through everything and he is so generous with his time adding so much more than what is written on the pages. This makes the listener feel valued and is much appreciated by this listener at least. Thank you Peter. I look forward to seeing you at Manchester Arena later this year when I know I am guaranteed another episode of pure laughter.

a very funny tale
very well read and a lift in life's dull monotonous grind after the Christmas break, the man is a comic genius and it was a thrill to hear his raise to fame and the journey he took, loved every minute.
