Summary

A passenger plane explodes. Eighty-three people die. One man is responsible.

When a routine operation ends in tragedy, decorated ex-Royal Marine Ryan Kaine becomes the target of a nationwide manhunt. The police want him on terrorism charges. A sinister organization wants him dead.

Kaine is forced to rely on two women he hardly knows: one, a country vet who treats his wounds, the other an IT expert with a secret of her own.

Battling overwhelming guilt, life-threatening injuries, and his own moral code, Kaine hunts the people who turned him into a mass murderer.

Can Kaine's combat skills, instincts, and new-found allies lead him to the truth and redemption?

Utter rubbish!

This was so bad that I had to listen to the end.
Ridiculous plot, cartoon characters, unconvincing narration.
I’m sure there is an audience out there for this sort of tripe, but not me!
I’m ex forces and ex police. So, for me this story was (quite literally) “laugh out loud” nonsense.

Poor

Juvenile characterisations, ridiculous storyline. This was supposed to be similar to Reacher. It's not a patch on those stories. Very disappointed.

voice put me off

Couldn't listen anymore. The voice was like an impression of Matt Berrys Toast.
In his Citro--enn.

Good Story and excellent narration

Just finished both of this series and found them excellent. The story keeps your attention and the narrator, Gildart Jackson, is always good. Looking forward to the next ones.

Great first books, the second is a must.

Both stories are far fetched but well worth the listen due to the narrator, Gildart Jackson is brilliant. I recommend the book if you enjoy fast paced and like the main character to be super human.

Entertaining romp

Pretty straight forward action listen. UK based, good narration. Does what it says on the lid.

Great listen.

Kept me entertained for hours. At last someone who can write something to rival Reacher.

compared to reacher

Disliked the comparison to Lee child and reacher.
Having listened to book one of this series I am left wondering whether the submission of comparison to reacher by a reader and whether they are on drugs or, never listened to reacher the comparison being far short of the mark.
in fact the author goes nowhere near reacher as a comparison. The author presents his casting character as ex SBS falling into situations over which he has no control and then spending a great deal of time trying to fix.
This storyline comes a long way from reachers adventures and, though being enjoyable to listen to are a different storyline altogether and should not be considered to be anything like Lee child's reacher.
