Opposites Attract Romance

Nomad by S.M West is a opposites attract romance that I listened to on audio narrated by C.J. Bloom and Connor Crais. This is the third book in the Scarred Hearts series and can be read as a standalone.

I loved the relationship that bloomed between Logan and Willow. Their relationship was a bit messy but you couldn't help but root for them. I really enjoyed getting both of their points of view throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

C.J. and Connor did a great job on the narration. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you like opposites attract romances, second chance romances, contemporary romance, or romantic suspense.

Wow

The dual narration of C.J. Bloom and Connor Crais, is brilliant . Both make listening a joy .

Logan had to leave Willow to protect her from his uncle, Fate has a way of changing plans . Logan finds himself back and danger and events follow him and Willow.

Logan will go to any lengths to protect those that he loves. Willow see through his walls and accepts him for who he is. She’s fierce and independent and fight for herself and those she loves. These two are brilliant together.

This book has suspense , a mystery , action , twists and turns and romance.

This book has it all! Suspense and danger, exciting twists and turns, heat and heart, and a deadly mystery that must be solved. And with great characters new and old, Nomad (Scarred Hearts #3) is an absolute must read!

What a fantastic romantic suspense!

Combine a second chance romance and thrilling suspense and what do you get? SM West's latest installment of the Scarred Hearts series! Nomad is just that. Pulling me in from the first chapter, Logan had me wondering exactly what was going on! He is a nomad, wandering everywhere by where his loved ones are. His uncle is about to be released from jail, and he thinks Logan has something that he deserves to have and will do anything to get it. Leaving Willow was not easy, but keeping her safe was more important. Turning up in her house now though is not only an unwelcome surprise, but causing feelings to flow right back in for both of them. Will Logan be able to keep her safe? Will Willow be able to control her hurt and love? What will Clive do to get what he wants? Tune in to this story, you will be in for the wild ride! With Willow's fun family and the excitement the race for answers, I was invested in the story and didn't want to stop listening until I knew who to trust and the outcome! I had hunches, but with all the twists and turns, I was kept on edge and surprised at every turn. Plus a cameo Kit gave us a glimpse of where he is now too! This is an amazing listen!

Connor Crais and CJ Bloom. I don't need to say more. Storytellers that know how to fall into character and keep me captivated for hours, these two had my full attention. Crais has such an amazing voice. He holds a warmth for Logan, showing us the love he has for Willow and turns on a dime as the evil Clive, bringing fear and suspense! Bloom is always fantastic, and she gives us Willow, strong, willing to help and almost fearless with her personality. I love, love, love this team and truly enjoyed their performance.

A Wild & Thrilling Ride! Amazing Story & Listen🎧

This is an amazing romantic suspense, dark, edgy and action packed, takes you to the edge of your seat and has you wondering what is going to happen next. The story sweeps you right in, grabbing your attention and captivating it the entire time. The characters are realistic, easy to relate to and connect with, except for the bad guys, they are easy to care about too. Logan, aka Nomad, left town to protect those he cared about, he has avoided calls from his most hated Uncle Clive, but he gets his attention in another way and it is not good. Clive is being released from prison and Logan has something he wants and he will do anything to get it, including hurting anyone he cares about. Logan has no choice but to go back and deal with him and his goons. But he had promised to his mother he would not let Clive get his hands on what he wants and that is his intention, but first he must retrieve it from its hiding spot. Willow was heartbroken when Logan just upped and left without a word why, he just ghosted her and despite her anger with him she has mixed feelings about seeing him again, though she was not exactly thrilled how and where he showed up again, knowing he was not expecting to see her again. But she gets her two cents in and grills him, he is not forthcoming at first but when he learns that he may have placed her in danger again, he sticks close to her. There are more things going on and it is possible that Clive is not the only threat to Willow and Logan. I loved how everything played out in this book, the story is cleverly plotted with plenty of drama, angst, mystery, twists and turns, thrilling suspense, heartfelt emotions and a great second chance romance. Also loved when Kit was called and jumped in to help. S.M West, thank you for another exciting story and wild ride.

🎧📚🎧 And for the wonderful narration, C.J. Bloom and Connor Crais are the perfect cast to bring these characters and their story to life. They have a complete understanding of the characters they are portraying, give each a voice that fits the character’s persona to a tee, sounding believable and just as I pictured the characters to sound. I love how they take each role and make it their own, C.J. Bloom plays Willow’s role with perfection, strong & confident, Connor Crais does the same for Logan, lets you see both sides of him, his strength and his conflict. Both were great performing the roles of the secondary characters too. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the characters’ emotions and projected them into their performance and had you feeling every single one. These mega talented voice artists are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another amazing listen.

Suspenseful

SM West kept me guessing what would happen next in Nomad’s story. The suspense, secrets, and familial disappointment kept me invested in what would happen between Logan and Willow. Logan’s protective instincts led him to make mistakes that could have been costly for both he and Willow. On the other hand, Willow’s trusting nature, nosiness and determination to insert herself in a situation that she was warned away from several times also placed them in grave danger. Thankfully, with the help of great friends and a well meaning admirer, they were able to get their happily ever after. CJ Bloom and Connor Crais did a fantastic job with narration. I look forward to more of this series.

Suspenseful second chance romance!

Nomad is a second chance, opposites attract romance. Willow and Nomad’s story is twisty and suspenseful with plenty of drama and will-they-won’t they moments to keep me glued to the story.

C.J. Bloom and Connor Crais do an excellent job narrating, but I have to say that Connor Crais really knocked it out of the park for me. He was the perfect Nomad and made getting lost in the story a treat!

A Second Chance Romance

I really enjoyed this second chance style novel. The characters were fun to follow and I enjoyed the plot line. I would say this book is on the lower end of spicy as far as other novels I have read. I also found it to drag and be repetitive at times when going into some character developments throughout the novel. Despite that I still really enjoyed the story and would recommend it to others. The narrators were not my favorite, but they did a decent job.

Search for the Black Box

Logan and Willow have... quite the... adventure... to go with their reunion. The story kept me engaged all the way through and I really enjoyed it - including the steamy reunion that required much practice to get just right. 🔥❤💥🎉

I really like how Logan slowly realizes the error of his ways, especially how his pick-up-and-leave-without-telling-anyone might actually leave those who care about him hurt and lost. I also like how he begins to occasionally ask for help.

As for Willow, she has the patience of a saint, especially with Logan and her questionably responsible brothers. I would not have been so understanding. 🤔😄

I received an author's copy of the audio book. The narrators are CJ Bloom and Connor Crais. I've enjoyed several books that each has brought sound to and I was very happy to have them in my ears. I like CJ a lot but Connor? I love his voice. It melts me like butter.

A Romantic Suspense!

This is the third book in the Scarred Hearts, an interconnected standalone novels Series by S.M. West. The cover is beautiful. Logan and Willow's story is suspenseful, filled with mystery, intrigue, and twists and turns This is an amazing addition to the series. C.J. Bloom and Connor Crais did an excellent job with the narration. I love this series, and I HIGHLY recommend it. I can't wait for Griffin's story!

So many useless words

I read the reviews and have to say they are not accurate to me. This story is not action-packed from the get-go. There are actually several chapters of useless inner monologue and nonsensical interactions. I wish authors would re-read what they have written. This author clearly did not because of the repetitive details of feelings and situations and why they should resist each other. Along with just wasted details to make the book longer. There is nothing that shows chemistry between the 2 main characters. Just that they want to bang each other. Grrr. I can't wait to hear another good story. So, tired of this streak of duds

Wonderfully action packed story

This one took me on quite the journey! I was thrilled and surprised with what happens with the storyline. The characters are wonderfully written. I really enjoyed Willow as the perfect one for Nomad. The danger they find themselves in and as they tried to get out of..WOW! A lot of action, drama and suspense filtered throughout.

Overall this is a well written story that I enjoyed. I liked seeing the characters from the previous stories as they are a close nit group. I did listen to this on audio. Connor Crais and CJ Bloom did an outstanding job bringing these characters to life.

Steamy and Heartfelt Romantic Suspense

Nomad is the third book in the Scarred Hearts series featuring Logan and Willow. Logan had ghosted Willow to protect her from his uncle, but he returns to town in order to retrieve an item he left behind. He never intended to see Willow, but he does and his presence sets off a series of events that leaves them both in danger.

“That bond both physical and emotional, the one two people can have, that I’ve never fully experienced before, it’s here. I get it now. The two of us, .like this, it’s huge and indescribable.”

Underneath Logan’s fun and carefree surface is a man that is running from his past and one that will go to any lengths to protect those that he loves. Willow see through his walls and accepts him for who he is. She’s fierce and independent and fight for herself and those she loves.

I absolutely loved the narration by Connor Crais and C.J. Bloom. While I enjoyed reading the book, I think I loved listening to it even more. I was able to get lost in the story thanks to the narrators and it felt even more emotional. Connor Crais' voice is so smooth it could melt butter and C.J. Bloom is quickly becoming a favorite female narrator of mine.

S.M. West is a master at romantic suspense and she takes us on an exhilarating journey as Logan and Willow try to figure out the mystery left behind by Logan’s mother and stay one step ahead of his uncle. Nomad will lead you on an exciting and steamy voyage full of twists and turns, heart-pounding suspense, and steamy romance that will have you rooting for Logan and Willow to find their HEA.
