Great book

Great book. It gets a bit technical in some spots but is still understandable. The information is great and really helped me to understand how and why to fast. Fasting has made a great difference in my health (not just in weight loss). I have less pain and inflammation, my allergies are much improved and I've had a wonderful increase in my energy levels.

Highly recommended

Clearly laid out and useful! Was recommended multiple times to me before I listen it, and I'm glad I did. There are some recipes i loved them most. Realistic about fasting dangers and addresses them fully.

Good info about the physical side of fasting. I have looked for this kind of information but usually have just found people making claims with no evidence.Love this book.

Great information

I followed directions and have taken back some control over my weight and health. I lost 22lbs and have kept it off. It is easier for me to lose it and then work to maintain it, than focus on what I am eating all the time.

First fasting book

This is my first fasting book but it was presented in such a good fashion that I started the 16 hour fast right away. I've only been doing it for a week but it feels good.

Excellent

I have been doing weekly 4 day water fasts for the past year and have seen tremendous results. I love that this book and acknowledging the benefits of fasting. I am so thankful to know that the key to losing fat is simply controlling insulin.

Great Book

This book has changed my life. It has helped me understand the role of fasting and has greatly helped me to get over the hump of my weight plateau and has given me a new found freedom from food. I highly recommend it. It is easy to listen and very inspirational.

Fasting Works

Down 15lbs in 2 weeks following the 16 & 24 hour fasts. And that’s with eating fast foods (I’m working on the healthy eating still). Fasting is soooo much easier than anyone would ever believe. Reducing calories makes me want to eat my couch cushions but fasting is all about realizing your body isn’t hungry, your mind is.

I have always known fasting is important. I just didn't know how to go about it really. This book offers several testing subjects' experiences and it really goes into detail about fasting. It also has different types of fasts and tips on how to make it a better experience.

A very big life changer

Life changing. Very well written.Wish this had been available 40 years ago.I am a very fit person and have been all my life. Always been extremely dedicated to eating healthy which meant low or no fat, frequent small meals, etc.Watching my waistline expand and always being hungry made me very depressed.The answers are all here. I'm extremely grateful to everyone involved in putting this book together.

Life changing book

I love the way this book is written. Sharing of personal stories mixed with medical information. It all makes sense and the guidelines on how to fast are easy to understand and follow. I have had the book a week and have done 24 hour fasts and two 36 hour fasts. It is easy and I am down 4 pounds.Listen the book. It will change your life for the better.

Love this book

Love this book! I needed direction , being a diabetic, and all the information I need to fast successfully is here! Additionally, the book is exceptionally well made. It will last a long time without falling apart. I appreciate the finish on the book, it will hold up well in a kitchen atmosphere.

Nothing here that you can't quickly find online

I was very disappointed. I expected more details on the fasting that perhaps I could not find online. I there weren't any examples or discussions about how the different fasts compared.

Amazed

I am a clinical exercise physiologist who has worked with many cardiac and diabetic patients. As I am aging I am seeking answers as to why I am gaining weight as a runner. This makes total sense to me!!! I am so in love with these scientific findings and am looking forward to results.

This book saved my life

This book gives you everything you need to follow intermittent fasting. After one of those and this book I started the program. I have lost 50lbs.My blood pressure completely ok now. I have another 100lbs to go, but it is a lifestyle I can live with the rest of my life. Thank you.

Love it
