The Book did not read to the end!

Hello, While this is a great subject of great interest, the book did not perform well on the audible. It got static and could not read from the topic on referrals onward. That's poor performance and below expectations. The purchase was therefore not worth my money. Remember it's the referral and closing sales parts that make business income and revenue. The poor quality recording on these parts makes it a below standard product. Does AMAZON and AUDIBLE platforms have a quality check process? How was this offered for sale?

Not for me

This wasn’t my favorite listen. I think this info would make a nice magazine article, but isn’t great as an audio book.

Classic but worth reminding ourselves of the basic

Most of the topics covered are already known however, people tend to ignore them when practicing sales. There is another concern about the ethical parts when you attempt to manipulate your prospects into buying by applying some of the techniques tought by the author.

Good course for those involved in sales

First off it's important to know that this is not a book but a recorded class, more similar to the Great Courses you can get on Audible. The course is also kind of old, recorded in the 70s but with the exception of a few outdated references and obviously not considering modern technology, the actual content of the sales approach is still just as relevant as ever. Tom breaks down every part of making a sale from prospecting to closing and makes it very easy to understand and follow and adapt to whatever industry you happen to be working in. As someone involved with sales but working at a company that didn't really have much in terms of training, it was very valuable and I learned a lot of useful techniques which I could use in my job. Tom himself has a lot of charisma and has a lot of fun teaching the class so it was very entertaining to listen to. If you're in sales or thinking of going into it, this will be a very valuable resource and is worth listening to.
