Cristian and Natalia!

Trying to end her relationship with her boyfriend is proving to be more difficult than Natalia anticipated as he isn't about to just let her walk away. She believes that there is only person who can rescue her from this predicament and this man is not only her friend's father but the head of a mafia family who is at war with her boyfriend's family.

Cristian sees the situation that Natalia is in as an opportunity and believes that she will be like any other person he has known, and he can bend her to his will. What starts out as a situation where he holds all the power takes a turn when he is drawn to strength and sassy personality and shows him she might just be his equal.

Cristian may be dark and dangerous but that only makes him more appealing while Natalia shows that despite her situation, she isn't about to back down from anyone and that includes him. The narrators were a great choice for the characters as they brought out the sassy side of Natalia and the protector in Cristian.

Best friend's dad? Hell yes!

This was such a quick, fun, spicy best friend’s dad, mafia romance and I really loved that Natalia’s character was unlike the female characters from other mafia romances in that she actually said what she wanted to and stood by it. Christian was basically the epitome of a mafia man, strong, powerful, and ruthless, but even he couldn’t resist the chemistry between the two of them. I loved the chemistry between these two and I could not get enough of it.



Kylie Stewart and Tor Thom were amazing in this audiobook!

That prologue though! This book had me HOOKED from page one! It was just soo good!

Okayy, lets back up for a sec. What’s the book even about you ask… Well, when her ex-boyfriend doesn’t take their breakup well and refuses to let her go, Natalia Carprio only has one place to turn to for protection. Her best friend’s dad, Cristian Marchetti.

Cristian Marchetti is the don, He is cold, commanding of respect, and is unfeeling from the beginning. Natalia slowly brings out his softer side, but only for her! She becomes his only weakness.

Ngl, I wasn’t sure what to except as this is the first dark romance story that I’ve read from this author. However, I was pleasantly surprised. As always, Ferrell’s writing was gripping from the start.

This book was just so amazing from the start. It legit had me hooked throughout. I loved how well Cristian and Natalia worked together. They were so different, yet it worked in bringing them together. Their chemistry was just chef’s kiss* 😘🤌. I liked how the story and their relationship developed. I also loved the main plot of the ex-boyfriend and all the side characters! Plus, that ending has got me excited for Benny’s book! This book was also soo hot! Just woow all around!

Fantastic Story & Listen🎧A Gripping Mafia Romance!

Charity Ferrell blows me away with this first book in her “Marchetti Mafia” series, a dark romance novel that is captivating from start to end. I loved the originality of the story, the writing, plotting and world building is fantastic and so is the character growth and development. Natalia Carprio was involved with the wrong man, Vinny Lombardi, son of a mafia boss, but she broke up with him after he cheated on her. He did not take that too well and put a bounty on her head. In fear for her life, she turns to the only person she thinks can help her and keep her safe, Cristian Marchetti, Gigi’s father, her best friend. Cristian is the head of the Marchetti crime family and a ruthless man, and he does not show her any mercy despite being his daughter’s best friend. As a mob boss, he always has an agenda and since the Lombardi are a rival mafia family, he offered to help Natalia in exchange for information. Natalia stands up to him the best she can, but her options are limited and she has to go along with his demands, which is to have a pretend relationship with him. But when it all hits the fan, it is necessary to make it even more real and as time goes on, another side of Cristian surfaces. I loved how everything played out in this book, the dialogue and banter is amazing and the story is cleverly plotted with plenty of drama, angst, some twists and turns, thrilling suspense, heartfelt emotions and steamy romance. Charity Ferrell, thank you for another amazing story and emotional roller coaster ride.

🎧📚🎧 And for the fantastic narration, Kylie Stewart and Tor Thom did an amazing job bringing these characters to life and did so with a complete understanding of who they were portraying, giving each a voice that suited them. I loved how they took their roles and made it their own, and were believable in every role they played. Kylie Stewart’s Natalia was spot-on, grasping every side of her personality from her feisty fierceness to her vulnerabilities. Tor Thom’s Cristian was the perfect ruthless alpha boss and so much more by the end. Both were fabulous performing the roles of the secondary characters too. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the characters’ emotions and had you feeling every single one. Thank you for another amazing listen.

Dark mafia alpha 🔥🔥🔥

This book is dark and delicious, if you like mafia romance then you'll like this. It's an age-gap romance, taboo..... The daughters best friend gets involved with the father. The dark mafia king.
The narrators were great.

Great Mafia romance

I’ve had the ebook in my ku since release and never got around to reading it so today I went to read it and found out the audiobook was out so I bought it straight away. Cristian Marchetti is head of the Marchetti mafia family and my best friends dad so when my ex from another mafia family puts a hit out on me I’m left with no option than to ask Cristian for help. Natalia is under no illusions of how dangerous Cristian is but sees him as the best of two options however when he starts to play games with her life she’s not sure if she’s done the right thing but as time goes on Cristian changes and realises he has feelings for Natalia .

I didn't connect with this book

I tried another book by the author and I really liked it(Only Rivals - I think it's the name of the book) and that's why I bought this book.
Unfortunately, I didn't like this one... Yeah I mean I did laugh a couple of times but it's not the best mafia book I've ever heard, it felt more like "meh" kind of book...
I will give this author another shot with a different book, I truly hope I'll be better.

Hot and engaging

Highly enjoyed this mafia listen. The narration was done well, and truly appear fit the characters. Everything about the story felt new and/or different and kept the reader engaged and listening. It’s a quick entertaining listen and well worth it.

Cristian & Natalia

This book was Wow! I don’t normally go for the mafia romance genre but I was very curious as I’ve been listening and reading Charity Ferrell books for quite some time now. This book did not disappoint. It had all the normal traits of this author but with a dark edge. One of the spicy scenes towards the end was really hot and different I’m still fanning myself after listening.

Tor Thom as Cristian is absolutely amazing. Kylie Stuart was a new narrator to me but she really did Natalia justice

Amazing

This book…..this book has everything. I love how this small woman can bring this big buff Alpha to his knees. With an exciting storyline and good strong characters, I loved it. A brilliant performance.
