The only thing stopping me from giving this book 5 stars is Lorenzo. I don't understand why he said he loved her during the big climax, didn't really make sense with his character. I did love Valentinas journey from escaping her abusive relationship, she did annoy me a little though thinking she was destined to be a killer then onwards. I love how hard Damiano fell for her, i do think the end of the book was a little rushed with their HEA but it's nice to see their progression in the rest of the series. My favourite though is Martina, she's so cute.

Not bad is the best I can say about this book. The lead female was a bit of a drip and a bit unlikable. I personally couldn’t see where the
Love developed and found the emotional connection a bit unbelievable. However it was a good storyline and great narration. The female narrator was particularly good and probably has one of the loveliest voices I have ever listened to. Wouldn’t rush to listen to or read it again and would probably be pushed to tell you what it was about by next week but I also wouldn’t say not to bother. Decent enough for passing some time.
