Summary

The heartwarming new novel from Dilly Court, the Sunday Times top ten best-selling author of The Beggar Maid.

With the fate of her family in her hands, Rose has to make a terrible choice: be thrown onto the streets without a penny to her name or watch her loved ones fall into ruin....

Rose is keeping a dreadful secret, and, too scared to ask her strict father for help, it's down to her to keep her brother from the hangman's noose - whatever it takes. Her innocent sister, Cora, is on a different road to ruin, bewitched by a handsome cad whose intentions are anything but gallant. When Rose's father discovers that his children have disgraced his name, he turns them onto the street.

Penniless, homeless and with the noose tightening, Rose must rescue her brother and keep her sister from the streets, even if it means putting herself in the most terrible danger....

Ragged Rose by Dilly Court

This is the first book from Dilly Court that I have not enjoyed the only way I can describe it is to stretching a rubber band as much as you can to tell the story and then letting it go to wrap it up not a good one for me sorry Dilly.

Superb

Loved every word.
Annie Aldington has the best voice for regional dialects and is a joy to listen to.
Dilly Court writes with such detail for the time it is set, even the aromas are brought to life by the descriptions in the story. A great book.

Another great read from Dilly Court

Listened to on audible I really enjoyed this romantic story .it was narrated well and you feel you are watching the characters in your mind, taking in the poverty of east end of London and the wild beauty of Cornwall . Would recommend this to all Dilly Court fans
