Summary

Never promise a life that isn’t yours to give.

New York City is decked out for the holidays, and Special Agent Patrick Collins is looking forward to a reunion with his old team when he gets assigned a new case. A human child is missing, and the changeling left in her place causes a prominent witch family to demand justice from the fae.

Meanwhile, continued harassment from the New York City god pack forces Jonothon de Vere to formally establish his own with Patrick. Doing so will mean a civil war within the werecreature community - a war they risk losing from the start without alliances. Making bargains with the fae is never wise, but Patrick and Jono have nothing to lose when a fae lord comes asking for their help.

The Summer Lady has been kidnapped from the Seelie Court, and if they can find her, Patrick and Jono will cement an alliance with the fae. But the clues to her disappearance are found in Tír na nÓg, and the Otherworld has never been kind to mortals.

Venturing past the veil, Patrick and Jono risk losing territory, time, and their very lives while searching for answers. Because the Queen of Air and Darkness knows they are coming - and the ruler of the Unseelie Court has an offer for them they can’t possibly refuse.

A Crown of Iron & Silver is a 107k word m/m urban fantasy with a gay romantic subplot and a HFN ending. It is a direct sequel to All Souls Near & Nigh. Reading the prior books in the series would be helpful in enjoying this one.

Enter the Fate on Midwinter

I love this Soulbound series by Hailey Turner, so I was thrilled to get an opportunity to review this and Gary Furlong has grown on me with every audiobook. He does a very acceptable British accent for Jono and then the Irish brogue for the Fae Lords and Queens, etc. Wade and Sage are pack with Jono & Patrick and things are about to change for Emma and her pack too.
Patrick's former military colleagues are also in town and they get involved in this latest case of his which starts off as a Changeling child in the place of the baby of a prominent New York witch family. This story is best enjoyed after the first two books and is highly recommended for all lovers of Paranormal MM adventure & romance. I'm eagerly awaiting book 4!

Loving this series

I'm loving this series, Pat and Jono are great, and Wade makes me laugh with always being hungry. Lots of action with I love and good romance between the main characters.

The best so far.

OMG wow this book and this series just get better and better, I love this book, best one SO far in my eyes. This

The book is filled with Fae mythology this time around and I loved hearing Gary Furlong talk in elvish.

Patrick is the same, throwing himself head first into situations. Jono is settling into his role as a God Pack Alpha and he really needs to sort out Youssef and Estelle, who are again hassling everyone. My absolute favourite character this time around was Wade, his teenage attitude and smart mouth were brilliantly times and funnily believable.
As I said loved it can't wait for the next instalment.

Wow!

I really enjoy the Spellbound series. Turner has once again kept me on the edge of my seat and I found that it was absolutely engaging. Furlong’s vocalization is engaging and consuming. He is perfect for this series! This book is an enjoyable listen and perfect for a dreary day.

Amazing third audio book

I love this story and Jono and Patrick so much.

I once again read the story too fast, so listening to it was perfect to discover new details in a way.
The main story keeps going in this installment, and we pick up not too long after the last book. it once again takes you on a fast pace thrilling journey.
I really love the way Jono and Patrick's relationship is developing as well. Loved their interaction with Wade and the rest of the people around them.
Gary Furlong's narration is on point, especially all the accents, it was perfect. He really brought everyone to life and I couldn't stop listening. I look forward to relistening to this and to the next book :-)

Another fantastic addition to the series

This is easily one of my favourite urban fantasy series to read/listen to. You are guaranteed for a really in depth plot, giving you action and drama along with relationship and character development.
Patrick and Jono are have now established themselves as a pack but it's not their main concern in this book as we get a crash course on dealing with the Fae. There is a lot going on with many characters coming in, including a few that Patrick fought with when in the Army. It's great to catch up with them but one person in particular that Patrick has trusted with his life brings a huge secret crashing down on them as they have to rescue the Summer Lady whilst fighting the Queen of Air and Darkness and her minions.
This story is quick paced, packed with so much going on that you have to pay attention to keep track of everything, especially as some of the Fae names can get a little confusing but everything is so very worth it for the thrill, tension and excitement that carries you through the book. So excited to see where Hailey Turner goes with Patrick and Jono next, as well as their pack.
Gary Furlong is absolutely amazing with his narration of this story. As well as giving emotion and depth to all of the characters and the story, there are so many voices to keep track of! I'm so impressed with how he does this as there are a variety of nuances, accents and even languages. I fell in love with the Irish that came through with some of the Fae and have been a fan of Jono's English accent from the start.
Highly recommend the whole series and they must be read/listened to in order as everything follows on with plot and relationships.

A great series

Great continuation of the series. It's hard this far in to say too much without giving things away for new readers.
I love Patrick and Jono, they are so good together. Jono is finding his feet as the new God Alpha, and Patrick is still charging headlong into trouble. This one feeds into myths and legends of the fae and the NYC God pack are still causing trouble. Solid cast of friends and allies, and I love a well written teenager, like we have in Wade.
Excellent narration.
Can't wait to see where the story goes.
