S2, E12 - In Service to Family, Faith & Freedom, with Katie Lovell

This week, I sit down with my sister, Katie… a mother of four, a woman of faith, and recovering addict.

Our journeys have been deeply intertwined, and in this conversation, we explore the path that led her to recovery, the role of faith in her healing, and the moments we’ve shared along the way, including my part in introducing her to 12-step recovery and how my mother and I cared for her children while she rebuilt her life.

This episode is an honest, tender, and powerful reflection on transformation, resilience, and the different ways we find our way home to ourselves. I can’t wait for you to listen. ✨

S2, E11 - In Service to Starting Over, Again & Again, with Abbi Coleman.

This week, I am joined by Abbi Coleman, a Breathwork Guide and Spinal Energetics Facilitator, and so much more.

We discuss Abbi's journey and awakening which she encountered through the portal of physical pain, how she found the practice of breathwork, which led to her opening and ability to feel. During this time, Abbi learned to become comfortable with the dark, appreciating the beauty that exists within the polarities of life and how it will lead us to our true pathway.

This experience impassioned her desire to share with others and she became a breathwork facilitator, splitting her time between the UK and Australia. Now settled in the UK, she is also a facilitator of Spinal Energetics, a framework that supports us to unwind energy patterns held in the body and harness our innate wisdom and ability to heal.

Abbi has such a willingness to personally embrace life's invitation to start over, again and again, accepting change and allowing it to be In Service To Transformation, which adds to her integrity as a healer and guide for others.

S2, E10 - In Service to The Truth Within The Mystery, with Shannon L Major.

Join me this week as I meet with Shannon Leeghan Major, an Oracle of Self-Love and Artist, who uses her voice to guide us into wholeness and the unique essence we’ve been born to emanate.

Shannon’s been teaching, supporting and coaching professionally for over a decade, both online and in-person, facilitating various workshops and retreats across Bali, UK and Australia. She believes that deep fulfilment and spiritual service are a product of following what is natural and authentic to our soul, despite the tendency we have to fold ourselves into the box of our cultural conditioning that glorifies perfection over our humanness.

Her own journey has taught her to dance with the mystery, drop her defences of control, and learn from the truth within. She now lives a life in service to ensuring that more of us are guided to access the nourishment, strength and worthiness, which allows us to embody who we truly are in the world.

There is so much magick in this episode, some really nourishing and heartfelt exchanges between us both, we discuss what it means to embrace our bigness, our divinity and our human selves. I found it deeply healing to be in exchange with this beautiful soul. I know you’re going to love what unfolds.

S2, E9 - In Service To The Living Embodiment of The Seven Veils, with Brighid Rose

This week I'm joined by Brighid Rose, Devotee of the Mystery, Body Worker & Magdalene Student and Mentor.

Brighid joins us for her first podcast and shares so beautifully about her journey beyond destructive relationship patterns, finding enlightenment via her teacher training and the mystery school of Steiner education, which provided a soul awakening and community she had longed for.

Brighid's journey into movement and the somatic led her to work with sacred sexuality and tantra practices, ultimately liberating her and allowing her to fully embrace and open to her eros and lifeforce. This opening has been a huge part of her journey of transformation and has led her to study more deeply within the realms of womb and yoni work, later becoming a huge part of her offering and the healing she shares with women.

We also discuss Brighid's devotion to the teachings of Mary Magdalene. A pathway to the heart space which has been fundamental in her personal awakening, empowerment and teachings to be shared with others.

Brighid is open to hearing from you and has offerings available at present, which can be found via her instagram account @brighid_rose. Don't hesitate to reach out to her and of course to myself @iamclairedarnell if you require support.

S2, E7 - In Service To The Truth Within Our Sexuality, with Claire Darnell, Embodiment Mentor & Podcast Host.

This week, join yours truly as I share a short episode about my coming into awareness and journeying with my own sexuality.

For me 'coming out' was a wild initiation, an invitation to step into more truth and honesty than ever before. I had always considered myself as an open minded person, but still subjected myself to judgement and paranoia as I struggled to come to terms with the change that my queerness was about to bring.

And transformation is what it has brought, embracing my sexuality has been a homecoming, stepping into more resonance with my authentic self than ever before, it has been a permission slip, allowing me to remove societal restrictions, connect more deeply and honestly with others and heal parts of me that were just waiting for me to step into my truth.

I share this journey, because I know there are others who may be curious, or embarking upon their own journey. I trust that in sharing my story, you might come to understand, you are not alone, and you can live a life that's more aligned with your hearts truth and desires, you can move beyond shame and allow yourself the privilege of change and transformation.

As always, if you have been impacted by what you have heard in the episode, don't hesitate to reach out to me via my socials @iamclairedarnell on instagram, or via email if that's not your thing via info@clairedarnell.com

Most of all, take care and move slowly, you dont need to rush these things and be gentle with your beautiful heart.

    So much love

S2, E6 - In Service To Fashion, Freedom, & Finding Your Joy, with Jules Hawksworth

What an episode this is, join me and Jules as we talk Arts, Culture, Fashion, Motherhood and Finding yourself on the Dancefloor.

Having been a Fashion Historian for much of her life, Jules invites us to review our idea of what a woman in Academia is and should be. She challenges the notion of having to “tone down” your freedom of expression to be taken seriously, and is a well respected expert in her field. Jules is devoted to The Arts and sharing her passion for fashion, music and culture with others is a driver for the many projects she undertakes.

Jules is passionate about dance music and the UK club scene, which she’s been at the forefront of and loved for most of her life, she’s now using that love to ensure the future of UK clubbing stands a chance of survival. In addition to this, she's been a huge part of the infamous ‘Mums That Rave’ movement since its inception, and you’ll see her there on the dance floor, spreading joy at their events and reminding us all that we don’t have to hang up the raving shoes because we’re a Mum!

This episode is rich with Jules personal experiences of overcoming challenges within the educational system, juggling parenting whilst maintaining a sense of self, how she moved away from family in order to reassess her life, and how she came into resonance with what she really wanted for her life via embodiment practices and embracing creativity.

Jules is such a wonderful example of taking what you’re passionate about and making it your calling. I know you’ll find the discussion as inspiring as I did. And, we both hope to see you on the dance floor soon!

As always, don’t hesitate to reach out to either of us, if you would like some support around anything we have discussed in the episode.

And if you’d like to try some of the embodiment practices Jules speak to as being such an important part of her journey, feel free to get in touch with me via https://www.instagram.com/iamclairedarnell?igsh=bno1Z3g4cDFoOG53&utm_source=qr
