This week I meet with Karen Marie Johnston, a multi-award-winning trauma & nervous system-informed coach, Social Worker, Supervisor and Coach.

Karen has dedicated her life to supporting women in the sex industry for the last two decades. She is a consultant and trainer for UK charity and statutory sector organisations and specialises in working with marginalised and under-served communities.

In this episode, we discuss her work, providing outreach in red light districts, and empowering women to overcome self-harm and self neglect, and how she is devoted to balancing her work with these women, alongside the thriving community she has built through her coaching and mentoring business.

She brings courage, empathy, intuition and passion to her work and this has resulted in her winning multiple awards for the services she has created.

Karen organises beautiful retreats and works 1:1 with women in recovery from addiction, disordered eating, trauma and mental health challenges.

She is obsessed with supporting women to rebuild a loving relationship with themselves, so that they can move beyond their past and live the lives they truly deserve.

This week I meet with Hannah Jardine Youell, Certified Hypnotherapist and Keynote Speaker, she shares with us her own experience of finding healing through hypnotherapy, which encouraged her to pursue her certification and provide to others. This episode covers so many topics, we discuss race and identity, home birthing and the power we can find by sharing our stories and experiences with others.
