I had assumed that this set of books would be average at best given that it is included as part of Audible membership but I was very wrong! Very listenable, I really enjoyed the stories and narration.

An unexpected surprise!

Entertaining, but, as a non-Welsh speaker, it was difficult to follow and I had to listen very carefully to the narration to work out who was who. It was quite some time after the start of the book that I actually realised who the King was, as it didn't sound like 'Arthur' at all. It didn't help that many of the characters kept changing their allegiances, either. It would have been easier to read this book in hard form instead of an audio book as I could have checked the names and researched the place names mentioned. Apart from that, I persevered with the book and overall, did enjoy it.
