Losing it's way

I found the first two compelling, but this one seems to have descended into juvenile humour and casual misogyny. Also the ratio of actual story action to reading out of stat sheets and notifications has changed for the worse.

Addicted

Nick Podehl’s prowess as a narrator is impossible to ignore - he really brings these books to life in full colour with his voices and nuanced tone range.

Another great installment and a solo dungeon quest

Slightly different this time as it focuses on Rivhter and a solo quest. Great though.

So Gripping!

Nick Podehl brings this brilliant story to life. Centering the story around the growth and experience of Richter draws you in so well. For me, rather than it feeling like 'reading a stats book' as some have said, the detail of levelling and experience only causes a deeper understanding of the central character. Great stuff!

Fantastic!

As always Aleron’s land series grips you from start to finish, making the hours fly by. If you’ve not read or listened to these stories you are wasting your time, get it done!

Good story but...

Good story but too much character stat Reading.
It almost reads like a rulebook rather than
a story

The story continues

If you loved the first two books then you will love this one. The story has some nice twists and deviations. I am buying the next book right after I have written this review.

Does not disappoint.

One wild and utterly enjoyable ride. Excellent narration. If these stories didn't lens themselves so we'll to binge listening I would have gotten so much more done today.
Eagerly awaiting the next installment(s).

Another great book

Just like all the other books, this is yet another great title! Time to start the next one in the series! What a great story Coupled with the perfect narrator! I'm getting scared because I'm about to start the last one available on audible, however Kong has said the the other 2 are in the way. The only gripe I have is a small one and is expected in all RPG games and that is the fact that there are more missions abound than the ones that are getting resolved. I do understand this is job security in a way. However, at the current list of task and the time it takes to complete one, we will need another 5 books just to solve the current workload. Anyways, I still stand by the fact that this is my number 1 series in books ever done! Invest in your imagination! Slay your enemies, Honor your allies, Live!

2:02 am and hooked like a fish.

The title says it all. I need to get some sleep so I'm gonna have to come back to fill this out but the pop culture references and action. The story is keeping things alive and a great tempo all in all. I just hope a video game deal comes from this or eso gets updated a bit more or some game is released that ties into the story because that would be sweet.

awesome book! Great Performance!

This series is awesome! It has a lot of nerdy references but you don't need to get them to enjoy the book, so don't be put off if that's not to your interest; They just add to the fun. Aleron Kong did a great job of making the characters feel real and Nick Podehl put them over the top. Best performance from an audiobook i have gotten so far. The emotions in the voices where excellently done and the little sound effects give the performance an extra edge. There was clearly alot of effort and care put into the writing and performance and it was definitely worth the money spent. Finished all three books available on audible at this time in a few days!
