Summary

It's Christmastime at Marlow House Bed and Breakfast, and Danielle has a full house. When a woman, stranded far from home, shows up on the doorstep and begs for a room for the night, how can Danielle tell her the inn is full and turn her away?

After all, it's almost Christmas.

The woman makes quite an impression on the other guests, especially when she mysteriously disappears. Is it foul play - or something supernatural?

Loved it!!!

Ok, serious question here. How do you authors find great narrators who can read your stuff without crying their eyes out? I had to turn it off at work because people thought I was nuts!

I have really become quite fond of the residents of Marlow House, and while I was hesitant at first, this has quickly become one of my favorite series.

I was losing faith

This was a great story. A little drawn out, but good none the less. I was losing faith in this series, but I actually enjoyed this one.

Each book gets better and better.

I am pleasantly surprised at how each book in the series, at least through Book 6, has been fresh and sufficiently different, and at the same time, all really, really good. Bobby Holmes is an excellent mystery writer. The plots keep you in suspense and every chapter is interesting. It doesn't take long whatsoever to get into the story and once in, you cannot put down the read. I feel like I am living in Fredericksport, and it's a good feeling! Usually, large series end up repeating fundamental plot lines and eventually lose my interest. This is not the case here, I am very impressed with Ms. Holmes's writing and glad that I stumbled onto this wonderful series. Romy Nordlinger is also terrific as the narrator for the Audible reads.

Just didn’t like the narrator.

Couldn’t take the story seriously because I couldn’t take the characters seriously. Maybe if I just read the book I would have liked it better. I didn’t even get halfway into the audible version before I was just tired of ta hat voice. I hope I can get my one credit back.

I never get tired of this series

I’m addicted to Danielle and Walt! Once I start one of their adventures I don’t want to turn it off. Between the story writer and the story teller they do an amazing job of keeping me entertained and interested. I can’t wait to start the next one.

The Miracle

A really great story for Christmas. Super characters and real nice story line. For once Danny isn't in trouble.
