Summary

Hailey Bishop was used to low expectations, accepting whatever the world’s tides sent her way. She had a boyfriend, a best friend, and a degree in library sciences, although no job yet. If Brian ever proposed, she'd probably say yes.

Then Hailey got the "letter", unexpectedly, from a sister at the orphanage in which she'd grown up. It revealed the name of her birth mother. It took Hailey only a few Google searches to find Annabel Edwards, who was semi-famous and living in Spain. Hailey not only had a mother, but two sisters who each had triplets.

More than anything in the world, Hailey longed to know her mother and the rest of her new family, but she knew better than to think they’d want to know her. It was just going to be her sad little secret until the day Hailey came home and found Brian screwing his assistant. The next thing she knew, Hailey was in Spain, credit card maxed out for the one-way trip, determined to introduce herself to her mother and sisters, come what may.

Billionaire Alexander Foxworth was in Spain, attempting to do damage control after his employee Emilio embezzled untold millions from Alexander’s company and then disappeared. Alexander had expected a meeting with the Torres Group. Alexander hoped to secure the contract for the lucrative castle-restoration project in Scotland, which would more than address Foxworth Enterprises' current cash-flow crisis.

But the meeting didn’t happen because Julio Torres apparently wasn't interested in doing business with Alexander; his scandalous playboy reputation was too much for a dedicated family man like Torres. His contact suggested Alexander’s reputation would be greatly improved if he would settle down and get married, and while it was the furthest thing from Alexander's mind, it did give him an idea: Hailey.

She was the beautiful, different, American tourist still getting over jet lag who he’d seduced on her first day in Spain. She'd be perfect for the job. If she was willing, and if he could find her.

Love and secrets!

You cannot go wrong with the combination of billionaires and triplets! This is a fun listen with several tropes melded together. Hailey catches her rat of a boyfriend in bed with another woman and as a result packs up and goes across the Atlantic to find her birth mother. She runs into billionaire Alexander Foxworth. Caldwell masterfully melds the long lost daughter, with the fake fiance story in this fun listen. Alex is a single minded business man and needs the fiance to soften his demeanor, but is caught off guard by his feelings for Hailey. It is always an entertaining listen when the man is swept off his feet. Hailey is interesting, trying to find her way, meeting her family but not revealing her secret and falling in love. This couple is a good fit, entertaining to see their relationship grow and meeting the others with their sets of triplets. The secondary characters are as important as Alex and Hailey, and I found that I took to Annabelle right away. As a mother, it's easy to see what would cause her problems and found her to be a relatable character. I am glad to have found Mia Caldwell and will have to go back to listen to the tales of the first 2 sets of triplets.

With the many characters in the story, it's important to have a narrator with a large repertoire of voices. Meghan Kelly has that and more. Her ability to give each person their own voice, characteristics and even some with accents makes the listen a pleasure to hear.

Exciting Story!

Great story and Meghan Kelly did a fantastic job narrating it, especially the Spanish words and accents. I could tell every time which character was speaking.
Alexander Foxworth was a handsome man, rich playboy and restored castles. Amilio had embezzled from his company, so Alexander went to Spain to try to get a contract. Alexander owed money to The Fleshman Group. His contact told him he need to get a woman to make a deal go through because the man was a family man. It would be a fake engagement until a contract got signed.Hailey Bishop was cheated on by her boyfriend, so she fled to Spain. Her best friend Elizabeth gave her information about a relative she had living there. That is when Alexander and Hailey first saw each other. Then things really got twisted up and a lot of turns happened in this adventure.

Life is unpredictable, trust the journey…

This story is very interesting. It has a little bit of most genres. Here is love and betrayal, lies and build of trust, excitement, suspense and drama. The book keeps you on your feet entire time. Moreover, there is an exciting great ending with a surprise.

The narrator is great, every book she does it always a pleasure to listen. This book has many different main characters. They are of different ages and most of them have accents, yet she is able to represent it flawlessly.

Overall a good story. At first I didn't like Alexander at all. It was a long time before he started to show some redeemable characteristics. I felt sorry for Haley and frustrated that she would be so foolish as to run away from Alabama and how somewhere she didn't know anyone with no money limited and knowledge of the language. Then to set out to get drunk and pick up a guy in the bar. I mean really?

The story does get better and eventually all is well.

Meghan Kelly did an excellent job narrating. Her accents were fun to listen to and she did a great job with the inflections and emotions of the characters. Although I can't say I am anxious to partake of another Mia Caldwell story, this one seemed to go on and on, I am looking forward to hear another story narrated by Ms. Kelly.

I recieved a free Audible copy of this story for an honest review.

Romance

This was a new author for me. I enjoyed the story. Really did not like Alexander through most of the story but he did redeem himself in the end. I can’t imagine all of the emotions that Hailey went through.

Good things come in three!

Mia Caldwell delivers a steamy good book! Haley and Alex’s relationship may have started with lies, it is quickly clear that these two are made for each other. Alex rises from his dark times like a Phoenix, giving him a new concept of what is truly important. Having Meghan Kelly as a narrator was a great choice!

Great Listen!

The Billionaire's Triplets is a delightful listen. Mia Caldwell wrote some great imagery in this book and the characters of Alexander and Hailey really appealed to me. The narration by Meghan Kelly was wonderful. She performs the various characters with distinguishable voices. I could hear exactly who was speaking. The accents sounded authentic. I will definitely listen to more books by this author and narrator.

Serendipity

If fate gave you what you wanted would you take it if it meant deceiving those around you. Hailey is left in such a conundrum. Follow her on her journey to explore a life she wishes she had had, and her crazy sudden love affair with Alexander. I really enjoyed this book. I love the dual prospective, and the great narration. Can be listened to as a standalone. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

An interesting story

The story touches on a little bit of everything from love, betrayal leading up to drama and suspense. It starts out a little slow but builds up as one woman is in search of the family she knew nothing about to a man who is about to lose it all. The plot has a few issues I have a hard time believing a woman would go where she knows no one with little or no money and picks up a man in a bar. In today’s time you would be a fool to do that. But the author does made it interesting.

The narrator did a great job bring the story to life, there were a few places where there were some repeating of words but it doesn’t take away from the listen. There are no background noise, no volume changes. The characters voices are good you always know who is talking and what they are feeling.

This was a pleasant listen that I did enjoy. I didn’t care much for a few of the characters but some do grow on you. All in all a good audio.

A tempting dance ...

Hailey is the girl who never asked for much, yet never stopped hopping for more. Life taught her the world was not always kind, but unbeknownst to her fate had a few tricks up it's sleeve. What happens when the girl who has nothing, finally finds something worth having?

When wealth is your wingman, it's easy to make people see things your way. What happens when circumstances take an unexpected turn? Alexander Foxworth is about to receive a wake-up call that will open his heart and change his life.

Mia Caldwell gives readers both sides of the coin. She takes inside a tale of two lonely hearts from both sides of the track and somehow makes them fit. The Fake Fiance contains emotions that are a compilation of heartache, loneliness and new beginnings. Caldwell supplies the words that Kelly brings to life and readers connect to. Alex and Hailey are the product of a tempting dance of drama, entertainment and temptation that kept me craving more.
