Funny
This was a fun-filled road trip story. I really liked Katie and Felix as characters. There were a few things that were a bit far fetched with the story. No teacher would ever pretend fight in a school even if dared. Not quite sure why a history teacher and an English teacher were going for the exact same jobs but that may be a weird thing to do with the English school system.
However when you ignored that the rest of the story was a fun tale. The side characters like the parents and even bat-shit crazy Victoria were well written. it's a great wee book to while away a few hours. The book is well narrated.

Fun, easy listen
If you want a light-hearted, amusing, slightly over the top romcom adventure then this is the book for you. Felix and Katy head off on a road trip to find new jobs following a prank gone wrong. With mishaps, amazing coincidences, misunderstandings and adventures, will they succeed? A fun easy listen but not one to have on with the kids in the car, they travel the country together. Will they succeed, only time will tell.

Entertaining
This book had a lot of funny moments, though at time the unprofessionalism during interviews made the characters tough to like. Overall, it was a quick, entertaining listen as long as you don't take it too seriously.
Victoria Fitzgerald did a fabulous job with the narration.

Hilarious. Katy and Felix embark upon a road trip together to attend job interviews but for the same jobs. There are some real laugh out loud moments and I was sad when the book ended.

Funny and entertaining
I think this is a book that is needed at the moment. There is plenty of humour with the back and forth between the main characters which was so enjoyable. I also really enjoyed the heat level in this one, especially with the way that the chemistry just burned throughout the whole book. The narration was also on point, the pacing, the characters, the suspense and drama that they portrayed. Fantastic book

Funny rom com
I loved listening to the audio version of this book. It was a Funny, easy to listen to rom com. It was slightly over the top at bits and a bit naught at times but it had lots of laugh out loud moments. I found it light hearted and very easy to listen to. I have listened to a few books by this author now and have not been disappointed. Will continue to look out for more 👍🏻😊

Romantic Comedy
Road Trip by Andie M. Long and Laura Barnard is a romantic comedy that I listened to on audio narrated by Victoria Fitzgerald.
Andie and Laura did an amazing job on this storyline. I absolutely loved it! The back and forth between Katy and Felix was amazing!
Victoria did an amazing job on the narration! Her voice was perfect for the characters! I can’t wait to listen to more of her work in the future.
I would highly recommend the book if you love Romantic Comedies.

Fun and Quirky
This was a funny, quirky. "I can't believe they did that" kind of book. Sometimes Katy went a bit overboard on her use of manwhore imo but overall I really enjoyed the story. And she isn't the only one that had that little problem with a bee. lol. Narration was very good.

Not your typical road trip
An unlikely duo are brought together as they both strive for the same thing... finding a new job. There antics put them in this position, having both lost their jobs on the same day, and now they’re competing at the same interviews. The constant attempts at sabotage did have me shaking my head, but also laughing out loud.
Neither of these authors are new to me, but I think this is the first joint piece I’ve listened to. I was entertained throughout as the story followed the unexpected road trip Katy and Felix embarked on across the UK.
Victoria Fitzgerald’s performance was spot on for this story. I think she nailed the personalities of the characters and was the perfect voice for Katy.
I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.

A really fun enemies to lovers romcom
Road Trip is a really fun enemies to lovers story. Katy and Felix are two teachers low on money and out of a job. They decide to pool resources and road trip together to job interviews.
Katy had just discovered her boyfriend was cheating on her and doesn’t have a very high opinion of Felix and his playboy, ladies man reputation.
There are some really funny hijinks as the two compete for the same positions. I listened to this story on audiobook and the wonderful narration added to my enjoyment and entertainment!

What a Great Ride
This is the first book I've read/listened to by these authors and it certainly did not disappoint. At some point we all need a laugh out loud read or listen and Road Trip certainly fills the bill. The narration by Victoria Fitzgerald is spot-on and the banter between Felix and Katy is amazing. Ms. Fitzgerald does a great job giving each character in the story a distinct voice fitting their personality.
Katy is a twin and her twin wants everything Katy has, but walking in to find her fiancé bumping uglies with her sister was the last straw. Revenge is in the air before all ties are cut and she enlists the help of one of her coworkers at school to help, Felix Montague, manwhore that he is. Sadly things go awry and they both get fired, setting them up on a road trip around the country to interview for new teaching jobs on a very limited budget.
What follows is a delightful journey from enemies to friends to lovers with witty writing and sharp banter between the characters. The situations they get themselves into are laugh out loud hilarious and I found myself doing just that on many occasions. The characters and storyline are well developed and I enjoyed the book greatly. I will definitely be reading or listening to more from these authors.

Such a fun road trip with Katy and Felix!
This was the first book by Laura Barnard that I have read or listened to. I've helped promote her books in the past but for some reason this one caught my eye, or ear I should say, and I had to give her a try. Oh my gosh, this was such a fun trip!
I listened to the audio-book on my morning walks and I literally laughed out loud in parts! What did the neighbors think, I wonder?
I spent a lot of time with the quirky characters, Katy and Felix, and their zany escapades as they traveled together to job interviews. Katy can't stand being around Felix, who has a reputation for being a 'player' and Felix likes to get Katy's goat in any way that he can. I loved the back and forth banter the two of them got themselves into.
Road Trip is a hilarious, fun adventure that you really need to take. Enjoy the ride.... and the laughs!

A fun story
Felix and Katy were two characters with dynamic chemistry who made this romcom come alive. I loved their antics some of them were a bit over the top, but I don't mind that. I wanted a bit of fun and this helped me giggle. I especially liked Felix though Katy was more real.
I liked the British accent but I wasn't very fond of the narrator. She wasn't soothing to my ears, and I had to really concentrate hard to understand. Luckily I had bought the ebook so I could follow the story by reading most of it.
Overall it was a fun read/listen

Hilarious Road Trip Book
Katy walks in on her fiancee with her sister in a way that has Katy walking out and looking at Felix Montague for help. Felix is known around the school she teaches at as a bit of a player, he has never glanced her way but she needs his help with a little make believe payback. Felix knows of Katy and knows she has helped swirl the rumor mill about him never once trying to find out if it is true. Felix decides to make his own conditions to help her out. One thing leads to another and both Katy and Felix find themselves having to share a road trip that leads to a little bit more.
I listened to this on audiobook and initially the accent is a bit heavy but it works. This story reminded me of Bridget Jones a bit especially Katy's mom. I thought the humor was spot on in this one. I liked Felix and Katy, I enjoyed seeing how they begin to realize they are not what the other assumed about them. Some really funny laugh out loud moments. Delightful road trip book.
