Help Wanted: Grumpy Mountain Man seeks baby momma. Job is an incubator position only. Surrogate must be impervious to grunting in the form of communication and nosey brotherly neighbors. Rustic mountain range housing available upon request.

I wanted to pummel my irritating brothers when they posted their own version of a wanted ad to help me with my life.

But I can’t fault the results once the right woman lands on my lap.

Becoming a single father is not a decision I made lightly. In fact, it’s the biggest decision of my entire life.

Which is why when I interview Trista, I know she’s perfect.

She’s wild, she’s opinionated, she wears cowboy boots. Even my pet goat loves her…

She’s the exact type of person I was holding out for.

And to my great horror, I realize on our first night of attempting this baby making dance…when the lights are low, the cheap wine is flowing, and the home insemination supplies are laid out on the kitchen counter…

I want to do a lot more than just make her my surrogate.

I want to make her mine.

Nine Month Contract is a 116,000 word small town, pregnancy, single dad wanna be standalone romance.

Sweet, Heat, Heart and Humor!

Sweet, heat, heart and humor… Nine Month Contract delivers with it all!

Everly Fletcher is proud of her matchmaking skills and turns her attention to her Uncle Wyatt who is determined to start his own family. He wants to find a surrogate to help him on his unconventional road to becoming a dad.

Fiercely independent, Trista Matthews is prepared to do whatever it takes to realize her dream of opening an animal sanctuary. After a series of setbacks, some convincing from Everly and meeting hot mountain man Wyatt, Trista makes an agreement that will change her life and her destiny.

I listened to most of this story on audiobook and the duet narration was perfect! Definitely a credit-worthy listen!

What a fun family the Fletchers are and I can’t wait for the next brother to fall!

Fabulous Story & Narration🎧Enticing & Delightful!

Amy Daws pens another fabulous novel, a small town romance that has the perfect balance of drama, charming humor, heartfelt emotions and steamy romance. The story is original with interesting storylines that are captivating from start to end. Once I started the book, nothing else around me mattered except what was going to happen next. I adored the two lead characters, Wyatt and Trista, as well as Everly, his niece and the Fletcher brothers. Wyatt is determined to be a single dad, but being done with romantic relationships, he is going the route of finding a surrogate to deliver his baby. Except he is having trouble finding a surrogate at the agency, but his niece is on the case and goes down to the agency to find the perfect surrogate, which she does. Trista is looking to make quick money, and thought signing up to be a surrogate would help her raise the funds she is looking for. The agency was too picky for her, but another opportunity arose when she met Everly, the teenager who interviewed her, though she did not know it was an interview. Next was getting Wyatt on board, which was not a problem because he liked what he saw. It was great to watch these two navigate their relationship and watch it morph into something else, despite their resistance. So many hilarious moments, as well as heartwarming ones, and the witty dialogue is absolutely brilliant. I loved how everything played out, the animals, the camaraderie amongst the brothers and family, and Trista discovering a whole new world and the way family could be. As with all of Amy Daws’ book, the writing, plot and world building are fantastic, as are the character growth and development. There is never a dull moment in this book, it will tug at your heartstrings and put a smile on your face, too. Thank you for another wonderful story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧 Erin Mallon and Teddy Hamilton were the perfect cast to bring these characters to life and their story to life. They understood who they were portraying, giving each a voice that was fitting and was believable in every role they performed. Hamilton nailed it as Wyatt, perfectly grumpy and overprotective, and Mallon was equally amazing as Trista, independent and driven. Both were great performing the roles of the secondary characters, too. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the characters’s emotions and had you feeling them all. These two make a great team, they handle the witty dialogue with ease and land the humor effortlessly. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to.

Love This Trope!

Ahhhh. This trope has intrigued me for so long, but this is actually the first time that I had the chance to read it, and Nine Month Contract did NOT disappoint!
The close proximity, found family, and saving animals aspects were perfectionnn!
I had the chance to listen to the audiobook and the narrators (Erin Mallon and Teddy Hamilton) did such a good job! The duet narration helped me to love the story even more! Love!!

Amy Daws brings utter perfection with the Fletcher brothers

I'd give 10 stars if i could, this audiobook, not only was it laugh out loud funny, it was so emotional I was crying towards the end, looking slightly like a dafty walking the dog, but HEA guaranteed. No third act break up which was nice to see just a wee stumbling block which just seemed to roll with the story. Cannot wait for the next in the series, the way Amy Daws describes the Fletcher brothers hell ya! So glad to see Max & cozy and kids from (last on the list) and Dr Josh Richardson from (one moment please) both my favourite re listen audiobooks. This book gave it all in spades, its hysterical 🤣 thoughtful and so 🔥 🥵 although not sure ill look at ranch dressing the same way again! Narration Erin Mallon & Teddy Hamilton no words needed.... just perfection and brought the story to full blown life xx

Amazing!

I'm so excited about Nine Month Contract and the possibilities that it brings.

The, perhaps unlikely, story of Wyatt and Trista is equal parts sweet and humorous and opens a whole new world for, and of, the characters written by Amy Daws.

The Fletcher family and the love they are so happy to share, would envelop even the hardest hearted. However, coping with childhood trauma makes Trista closed off and wary of anyone with an open heart.

Not to worry though, as you might expect, Trista and Wyatt do manage to secure the perfect HEA!

I was so totally immersed in the story of Wyatt and Trista that for the first time ever, I toggled between reading and listening to this amazing novel.

The voices of Teddy Hamilton and Erin Mallon 'were' so completely Wyatt and Trista, that it was sometimes difficult to remember that Amy Daws created these 'people' and they are characters in a very compelling novel that is hopefully the beginning of a whole series of Fletcher family members!

Wyatt and Trista

I loved all the things in this book. The characters, the humor, the situations, the build up, the name of the chapters, the different references (especially about Amy’s late father), the animals… you get the point. This could be a standalone however it was more fun because I have listened to “Last on the List”. There are lot of recurring characters. I believe the book was 10 hours but I wish it were longer because I wanted more. I did feel like she kind of rushed the end of the book.
The narration was fabulous, I love Teddy and Erin, they are a couple of my favorite narrators. I definitely recommend this book and the wait with me series by Amy daws that builds up to this book.

Fantastic Narration

Nine Month Contract was a fantastic tale. This is the first book in a spin off series from the author's previous novel Last on the List and it features the Fletcher brothers.

This small town romance follows Wyatt Fletcher who wants to become a father and is looking for a surrogate to have his baby. With no luck from the agencies, he agrees to let his niece help with the search and she decides to play matchmaker in the process by linking him up with Trista, who is doing this to get money to open her animal shelter.

I loved these two. They were very open and honest with each other from the start and it was interesting to see them navigate their relationship from strangers to so much more. I loved the chemistry and tension between them. Their steamy scenes sizzled and Wyatt's dirty talk was on point and their unorthodox relationship was perfect for them.

Trista's backstory was emotional giving so much feels and I loved seeing Wyatt's family become her own.

Wyatt's brother's featured heavily in the story and I loved their witty banter and sibbling relationship which had me highly amused. But it was Trista's quirky animals that was the highlight for me.

This story was hilarious, emotional, steamy and highly entertaining and I was hooked from start to finish. It was a well-written tale that I would definitely recommend to romance lovers.

🎧 I listened to the audiobook which was narrated by Teddy Hamilton and Erin Mallon. I absolutely loved their duet style of narration which flowed seamlessly and brought the story to life. Their voices perfectly suited the characters as they had the perfect tone and volume. These two did a fantastic job with the narration and it was an absolute pleasure listening to them.

So glad Amy is back!!!

Can I just say I am so glad Amy Daws is back? Just what I needed! A breath of fresh air that had me laughing out loud at the antics and swooning with love. This original romantic comedy is perfect for anytime you feel like listening. Wyatt has decided he is tired of waiting for the perfect woman, he wants to have a child and finding a surrogate may be the answer. With the help of his niece, he reviews and finally agrees to sign a contract with the quirky Trista. Not only are both not looking to fall in love, but their banter is so much fun, it is certain they would produce the perfect child. Having her stay on the mountain is perfect, as she loves the outdoors and animals. Wyatt enjoys the solitude. Complete opposites yet attracted to each other, they are destined for love, right? Well take the ride to find out! It's hysterically funny, touching and has all the feels with some added spice! The perfect mix, plus the animals and their names, I am still laughing! Thank you for this treat Amy!

And with spot on comedic timing and chemistry of their own, Erin Mallon and Teddy Hamilton bring it all to life. Mallon is the quirky Trista, with her baggage and love of misfit pets. She brings humor to situations while at the same time keeping Trista strong and vulnerable. Quite the mix! Hamilton brings out all the emotions as Wyatt. From the first movement of the baby awe to the frustration of another animal on the mountain, he still lets the love flow for Trista. Perfect match for this story and fantastic narration!
