I love Amy Daws, she’s a go to author for me. This story is a complete 180 from her Harris Brothers series. No sexy footballers in this book. No, we have a hotter than hot greasy motor mechanic with a name as sex as sin, Miles Hudson (I’ve been picturing him with his coveralls tied at his waist throughout the whole book). The story follows Kate, an author with a huge problem. Writer’s block! When she goes to tyre depot to get her car serviced, she sits in there waiting lounge drinking the complimentary coffee and eating the complementary baked goods, and voila! She’s got her writing mojo back. Herein ensues lots and lots of laugh out loud moments as she returns daily to finish her book. A fantastic story (filled with some of the authors real life experiences), funny, serious, sexy and so very Amy Daws. I just loved it. Miles and Kate are perfect. Erin Mallon and Teddy Hamilton are new narrators to me and I loved them, time to find out what other projects they’ve done.

I really enjoyed this. It took me a while to get used to the voices, particularly the actress voicing Kate. But the overall story was fun and enjoyable. Miles was hot and sexy and spice was pretty damn hot! I’ll certainly listen/read more from Amy Daws in the future :)

On a note. i have this rule. i always do audio for Amys books.
Normaly i would say i am the kind of reader who would read the kind of books that Kate(Mercedes) writhe. The hot steamy books. But Then there is some authers that can writhe so good that they keep me reading, no matter what they write. Amy ia one of these authers. She can also make me laugh. And i dont do funny. But i do Amy kind of fun.
So well written. And such a good lovestory. The relationship between Miles and Kate is so good. They finde each other when Kate findes her muse, her place to writhe in a tire depot's costomer care center. So she thinks she is smart and sneak in every day unnoticed. But Miles see her. And simply cant stay away from the beautiful readhead.
