About this listen

King of Duels marks the passing of the torch from our beloved Andrea Parsneau to a new narrator. Erin Bennett, a Golden Voice narrator, will continue to bring the magic of The Wandering Inn to life.

The world is full of adventures, big and small.

From exploring the [Garden of Sanctuary] to the depths of the sea, there are countless fascinating discoveries to be made. Not just in the places people go, but in the things they create... or recreate from Earth. Chocolate, lifting weights, and alcohol all flow through The Wandering Inn with unexpected consequences at times.

However, there's also war, [Assassins], and scams that ruin or destroy lives. For every monster, there is an adventurer. The Stitch Witch may creep forward, and the King of Destruction continues his rampage across nations, but there will always be a champion who steps forward.

Featuring a foreword from Andrea Parsneau.

I loved the story, Pirate Aba, thank you so much …but I miss the original narrator. Andrea come back!

As always a riveting tale!

On the whole I love this series and the new narrator is good…. But it makes it different, after listening to 15 books, literally hundreds of hours of a great series it is devastating when they change narrator! As I say the new one is good and I’m sure I’d be just as disappointed if she had read the first 15 books and was replaced by Andrea P. It really spoils the book when every time a character talks you immediately think the voice is wrong. The story was probably as good as ever but I just couldn’t enjoy it.

I don't handle change well and normally drop a book if the narrator changes. Erin was amazing. A lot of the voices are spot on. I forgot the narrator had changed. There are differences for sure but all is well in the inn.

Turns out there was nothing to worry about

I so miss Andrea, sha gave such life to all the characters. New narrator is really good and after some rime passed got used to her. But for me the magic of Andrea is missing. Bring her back, please.
And this is not a bad review for the new, it's just Andrea brought this book to life for me. And for now not feeling it.

Bring back Andrea pls
