very informal book, but withdraw my application
Very informal book great information goes into great detail. But I withdrew my application from the fire brigade because of this book. As the book describes you have been more of a public speaker then a firefighter these days that's not for me so withdrew my application.

Informative
I purchased this audiobook as I am aware the career of a firefighter is extremely competitive. Listening to this has given me a huge insight into what is expected from each applicant and I'd like to think that now I have an advantage over many other applicants when I next apply. Well worth a listen if you are serious about becoming a firefighter.

A useful Tool, preferred the book.
I found this audiobook to be a useful tool to listen to whilst driving etc but preferred the book. The information at times is hard to comprehend in the way it’s delivered verbally but much easier when reading it physical from the book. Definitely worth getting and using when driving as I say, to get that extra studying in.

Very informative and full of life
Richard McMunn expands in what is already in the book and truly brings it to life by narrating it in a way which makes you feel like he having a chat with you in a room. This book covers all the basics of all the areas you need to know and if you follow it to a T, I doubt you'll go wrong.

Highly recommend this if youre applying in the UK - plenty of insights and advice for getting through the application process. Get on YouTube too - FirefighterNow has plenty of free information to help!
