Absolutely love this, I'm much more relaxed about flying. I use this everyday just for relaxation. Patricia Furness-Smith has a great voice...highly recommended and very easy to use I just downloaded it onto my mobile so I can use whenever wherever 😊

Listened to this on my flight out to Tunisia. The breating techniques were brilliant and the way everything was explained about engine noises and that turbulence isn't worrying or a danger is really pleasing to hear. Would def recommend 👌

I am a frequent flyer with British Airways and use both the book and the audio meditation at the same time, which I find extremely helpful. I have both hard and soft copy of the book for convenience,so you can access it on your mobile or tablet. I highly recommend both as they have a very calming effect and as you read through the practical side of the amazing engineering of flight and the psychologically of what we think about and what is the actually reality, really helps to keep you calm and relaxed. I cannot recommend the meditation enough and also the book. The teams of stewards on British Airways flights are always lovely, supportive, kind and professional which also contributes to the experience. If you need further help to relax, you should go to your Dr as I do and they will prescribe you something to calm you, this also helps as part of the plan.

the flying with confidence book is very good but this guided relaxation is not very effective as a tool to manage one's fear of flying. I would not recommend it. Just read the original book

Would you try another book written by Patricia Furness-Smith or narrated by Patricia Furness-Smith?

Bought this to hopefully help me relax as I hate flying. Lots of guidance through breathing exercises that was info easily available elsewhere. What really put me off was mention of the description given of the signal to cabin crew that there is a problem . Rather than putting me at ease, I spent the whole flight panicking every time the steward call button sounded...just in case it repeated 3 times. Definitely wouldn't recommend for any big babies like me.

What could Patricia Furness-Smith have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

I wanted to be reassured through listening to such a lovely voice, that everything was going to be okay.
