Summary

Cassie Franklin trips over nothing on perfectly flat surfaces every day, and she cannot seem to be able to simultaneously speak and look into her audience's eyes.

Cassandra Frank is the ultimate tease; her words have aroused, intrigued and captured the heart of thousands...and somehow, they are the same person.

Hiding the fact that she writes erotica isn't much of a challenge - no one would ever think that a plain, boring little accountant like Cassie could so much as read anything so scandalous...

But one day, she makes a huge mistake.

Carter Harris employs so many people he can't exactly recall all their names, but strangely, he knows her. She isn't an executive, she isn't sexy, or otherwise noticeable, but the girl is cute - in a helpless, unique sort of way.

He can't pretend to say she ever crosses his mind, though...until the day he finds the manuscript she worked on during her lunch hour.

May Sage does write it better

I loved listening to the audio version of this book and with Noah taking all the male narratives and Erin the female, you become drawn into the story even more. Noah has a lovely deep chocolatey voice (yummy) and both narrators sound believable.
This first story is about a klutz accountant and fledgling erotic writer at Harris Toys who gets the full benefit of her CEO's input. I really love the 'Some girls do' series.

Good start to a series

This was a cute book and decent start into a series. Some parts of the story seemed incomplete, but for the most part it was good. I would have liked to see the characters, Carter and Cass a bit more developed, but I believe I'll get to know them more over the next few books.

This is my third duet narration of Noah and Erin and their chemistry is unmatched. They always make the conversations flawless and it never seems as though they are acting. I love when they perform cues i.e. laughs, it makes the dialogue seem more realisitc.

Awesome book - great narration!

I love this short story!!! The audio version was great because both the narrators read their own parts throughout the book and didn't just alternate chapters. I wish more audio books would go this direction.

So good I listened twice in a row!

The writing is fun and hot and to make it even better the narrators are phenomenal! Very well done! Only downside is it wasn't longer!

Not a cliffhanger, but close

Liked the book. It was...different listening to it with the dual performers. Didn't necessarily end on a cliffhanger, but the story definitely wasn't fully resolved.

magic duo team added a layer

Sweet, shy, smart Cassandra/Cassie was so much more that she appeared to be from the outside. Carter was the boss. The man made something from nothing.

There were layers to this story not explored and would have made for a richer, deeper story. It was getting real good when it was all over.

Narration duo Noah Michael and Erin made this a very enjoyable short listening experience. The way the audio was mixed makes the listening very much an all encompassing experience.

Cute, sexy read!

Cute book about a romance writer in need of a little "hands-on" research! It's a fun, short, sexy read that cannot be passed up! It made me want to write a romance book just so I can do some "research" with a sexy rich man!

The narration was amazing! It was a perfect duet!

Cute, but...

Noah's voice reminds me of Dragnet: gravelly and too serious. Old. Erin's voice is great; she's an adorbable, talented voice actress.

The story was ok. Why mention a Halloween party and not write it? How many times can jaws drop?

loved this book found by accident

I was looking for something to listen too at work and found this and loved it the story was so sweet and funny and Noah and Erins were the perfect voices for these characters. I just had to finish this book and I can't wait to start the next one. was so worth it. only thing I would have like to here was a little more to the end (spoiler alert) where he proposes to Cass.

Good novella!

I listened to this one roughly 6 weeks ago or so. I liked the premise, and overall I enjoyed how this office romance played out. The mix up with the folders that resulted in Carter getting a printed copy of Cassie's romance work in progress was a nice touch. Carter's reaction to the content was even better. It's a quick read, and both audiobook narrators did a good job animating the story.
