Nice to find a police force that is devoid of bad tempered , foul mouthed , incompetent , basket cases . Enjoyed this book so very much ,can't recommend it highly enough , this promises to be an excellent series

Not the best book I ever read but a comforting read in the crazy world we live in currently. I simply lijed it.

I listen to these with enjoyment, and the writing is intelligent and concise, and it moves along.
Yet although I'm going through these free offerings on Audible, I do find them a bit naive and this one had a lot of female interest [intimacy?] which always lessens the enjoyment for me.
The narrator makes the characters winsome, he's good.

That's a great detective story with a philosophical hint - without the cringe kitchy motives you find often on detective stories. Don't expect too many super surprsing plot twists though. ; )

I loved the narrator! No unnecessary overexaggeration and a nice voice with a bit of obrony here and there.
