This whole series is fantastic; I listen to them all again in order at least once a year. Intricate plotting, convincing and compelling characters, a great deal of heart and soul. Far superior to Morse/Frost/Banks etc etc.

The storyline is very good. DC is a funny man, all the characters are intriguing but the narration tops it all. Books can be ruined by poor choice in narrator, you got this just right, on a par with Stephen Fry and his Harry Potter 😊

Loved every minute of this. The expected high Peter Grainger standard. And Gildart Jackson is superb as usual as DC.
