Summary

The death of a child and what seems to be a murderous puppet make a perfect case for Bryant and May and the Peculiar Crimes Unit. As John May and his team interrogate the suspects, Arthur Bryant heads into the secret world of illusions and stagecraft. Bryant & May. Brilliant.!

Would you consider the audio edition of Bryant & May and the Memory of Blood to be better than the print version?

Don't like reading, so I find Audio books much better. It's on my mobile & it's better than taking a book out with you.

Any additional comments?

Absolutely love The Bryant & May series. Christopher Fowler has lots of facts about London in his stories which are very interesting. The plots are always good, with lots of twists & turns & you don't want to stop listening. Love the main two characters. Tim Goodman is a very good narrator & he brings the characters to life. Have now listened to 6 & I'm ready for the next one.

Detectives with a different edge

Once again this is a credit more thna well used this month. Briliant narration by Tim Goodman who narrates all the Bryant and May stories.

Loved the fact thats this two sleuths are 2 wily octogenarians who deal keep us guessing until the very end. Great entertainment. I'm now a full convert on Bryant and May stories.

Was it Mr Punch that did it?

A very entertaining and enjoyable book. Comedy, detection and Peculiarity. Bryant and May are brought to life by the reading.

Worth persevering with

Ok. So it takes a long time for this to get going but if you stick with it its good by the end. I think that as a book its a bit too slow but the reading of it is good.

Any additional comments?

The Bryant and May books have been around for a while, but I have only just stumbled upon them, and very pleased I am.

As an avid consumer of books in all formats, It's great to discover a series of books that you can pick up on and follow - I've already bought 3 more, starting from the beginning.
