Summary

A sworn member of the Colombo crime family in New York City, Michael Franzese was considered the biggest moneymaker in the mob since Al Capone. At age 35, he was number 18 on Fortune magazine's list of the 50 most wealthy and powerful Mafia bosses in America. But then he did the unthinkable. He quit the mob.

Franzese met Camille Garcia, who turned his world upside down with her innocent beauty. He fell in love with her, married her, and began a new life that didn't include the Mafia.

Nobody of Franzese's rank ever just walked away from the mob and lived to tell about it. But Franzese has somehow managed to avoid the grave after he turned his back on the past. But what made him leave the lavish lifestyle of the Mafia? And how has he escaped what should have been sure death after he quit the mob?

Now, in one of the most fascinating books ever written about today's Mafia, Michael Franzese reveals the answers to the many mysteries surrounding his incredible life. Walk the streets with him and find out how and why he has done what no one else managed to do - and live. Journey with him through a life defined by two blood covenants. The first bound him to the mob. The second set him free.

There Are No Limits To God's Grace.

Do you know what I really love about this audio book? Its central theme. What is its central theme? The power of God's Grace! It reminds me that there are no limits to what God's Grace can do in a person's life. Here is the story of a New York Mafia boss who ends up rejecting the life of La Cosa Nostra, and embracing the life as a Christian believer. That's amazing! Listen! I'm not even going to tell you what happens. Buy the audio book and listen to it yourself. Arrivederci.

Amazing

What made the experience of listening to Blood Covenant the most enjoyable?

Micheal's story is unreal. As a mob history buff his story is by far my favorite. Its not the typical mob story filled with murders. Its more of the story of someone who became the biggest earner for la cosa nostra then walked away without becoming a rat. He gets into how his faith helped him in his path to walk away, that might be a turn off for the none religious types (I'm by no means a big religious person) but don't let that turn you away. It truly is an unbelievable story. I listened to it many times over and I really cant say enough about how good the story is. If you are a mob fan, you need this book.

Powerful beautiful story of God's Grace

I loved listening to Michael tell his story. Hearing his story in his voice with his own words was so impactful. The details he gave made me feel like I was there. I've always been fascinated with the mob and now I feel like I have a good friend who was once a mobster and is now a brother in Christ. I love this book! I only wish it was longer!

God Bless Mr. Franzese (Jr.)

What did you love best about Blood Covenant?

I admire his courrage. It takes real cojones to go through what he went through and come out strong. This is what love does, all for his family. I am against drugs, anything ilegal and all that has to do with the mafia. It is a very dangerous life that one should never step into it. I'm very happy to see that he came out of it alive. I loved his book and his honesty. God is looking over you Mr. Franzese. Thank you for getting out of that life.

Who was your favorite character and why?

His wife for believing in him and giving him so much support to get out of the life. That is real love!

What does Michael Franzese bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

OMG, so much! There were moments when tears came out of my eyes because of his struggle of trying to get out of the life.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When his father went back to jail.

Any additional comments?

This book really moved me, mainly because of his courrage of getting out of that awful life.

Honest, well as honest as one could be. ✌🏻👍

Hey, Uncle Michael!

My Dad had 8 kids lol not 7! Well, 8 that his name is on the birth certificates.

This book, from just reading the parts about my dad, is way more honest that that Quitting the Mob book. I am going to buy the ebook, but hey Uncle how about sending me 3 autographed copies for me and my 2 sisters? We are the Illegitame kids, so can we have that? Please? Thank you.

Peace~

A Must Read

A brutally honest testimony humbly told by Michael Franzese. He was far from perfect, and yet God had a wonderful plan for his life. What an amazing story! What an amazing God!

Great Book

Amazing book! I wish it was longer and more in depth regarding the criminal end of things. But all in all it was amazing.

Interesting

Book was brief, didn’t go into much detail regarding anything that wasn’t his wife. Didn’t go into any family detail save for his father only mentioned him not his other siblings who definitely had an impact on him. Felt quite self serving at times since he hardly goes into any detail regarding his crimes only scratches the surface. He has such a grander story to tell but he doesn’t. Would have also been better if it would have been read by someone not him.
