Summary
Just in case you’re wondering what Asperger’s Syndrome is, how it is different from autism, or what to do with it, you’re at the right place. This book gives you all the important facts. You will learn about pros and cons (because there can be pros indeed), how to handle social aspects, and signs and symptoms of those who have it. At the end, there will be solutions for those who are trying to manage their behavior, some very effective and some that are only for certain individuals. So go ahead and start reading, and get a true understanding of this slight deviation of the brain.

Great guide
This is a great guide for parents who are dealing with kids that have autistic tendencies. I personally like the way the author put everything. He didn't condemn it or wrote it off as a completely crazy brain dysfunction but also highlighted some positive aspects.

Very disappointing
I can't make sense of the 5 start reviews. I found this book to be quite useless for me, as a parent seeking insights and advice on how best to support my 12 year old son who has just been diagnosed with Asperger's.
The book is a strange collection of advice on how to diagnose Asperger's, immediately followed by the advice to let professional do that. And it repeats a long list of medication several times in the book, only to quickly add that Asperger's can't of course be cured by medication. There are strange sectios that outline that Asperger's can't be cured by therapy (duh), and that having Asperger's is not a deliberate choice made by people with Asperger's (duh), and that Asperger's is not caused by upbringing.
All in all I was glad it was a short listen.
