Summary

Seven Troop is Andy McNab's account of the time he served in the company of a remarkable group of men - from the day, freshly badged, he joined them in the Malayan jungle, to the day, 10 years later, that he handed in his sand-coloured beret and started a new life.

Great Read

I think Max's review is a bit harsh.

I completely agree with comments, but I would (and have) awarded more stars.

I found this a great book, something that I could engage with.
I also found that by the end of it, I felt like i knew the characters.

Certainly worth the money, made even more value as the author reads it himself.

Andy McNab's finest work yet

I?ve read a few of Andy McNab?s books, both autobiographical and fiction, and I?m constantly amazed by this man. His honesty, especially in detailing his tearaway years as a troubled youth, at first sounds like a simple confessional but later reveals itself as the bedrock for his inspirational story. He shows that anyone, armed with just the determination to succeed, can accomplish anything they set their mind to. Instead of being issued worthless ASBOs, today?s troubled youths should be made to read this book. A few more people like Andy McNab would make this country an infinitely better place.

Truly amazing read

I have read Andy 's book immediate action and bravo two zero. Both fantastic books. This book tells the harrowing account of what happens after service in the regiment finishes. RIP Frank and Nish.

Outstanding

Truly inspiring read, A riveting story from start to finish made even sweeter as it was read by the author the drive in his voice wouldn't let me put this down. Their isn't an actor or vo alive could have delivered this as good as the author.
I read many autobiographies but seldom do I come across an autobiography that makes all the others pale into insignificance.

Fascinating. McNab is a hero.

Any additional comments?

This is a stark reminder of why Mcnab is one of my idols in life. Intelligence, bravery, loyalty and the willingness to get the job done at all costs; Mcnab's soldiering morals never cease to amaze me. Mcnab takes you through the ten finest years of his life, in his own words. From the jungles of Colombia to the IRA infested streets of Belfast, Mcnab's journeys are detailed in this book are captivating. His cool demeanour and coolness under fire and being faced with extremely stressful situations is admirably, to say the least. Mcnab is the all round ultimate soldier. Listen to this book, you will love it.

fantastic

As always with Andy McNab an amazing story, well written and brilliantly narrated. He should narrate more of his own books.
