A good read, but anyone who has read Mr McNabs work, will know this is unlikely to have been written by him.

I’m not a big fan of Andy McNab’s fiction. I’m sure it’s just some SF wannabe making up stories under his name. But this true life account is fantastic! The narrative on the history of the Taliban and the specific nominals was really interesting and informative. Likewise the descriptions of the briefings. All really good background to the account of the actual operation. Highly recommended.

If you’re like me and have become bemused about Andy McNab’s last two fictional cult/new world order novels? Then fear not! Andy McNab’s The Hunt is superb!!! This retelling/true story about a secret mission to catch a Taliban Warlord is edge of the seat content and is the Andy McNab that I became a huge fan of and love! The Narrator - Colin Mace once again demonstrates why he is in a league of his own! His thespian skills and delivery is highly captivating and has you hanging on every word, leaving you feeling like you were on the mission as well!!! Highly recommend!!!
