Summary
Tough, resourceful, ruthless - as an SAS trooper, Nick Stone was one of the best. Now he's back on the streets. After a botched mission, the Regiment no longer want his services. But British Intelligence does - as a deniable operator. It's the dirtiest job in a very, very dirty world.
In Washington, DC, it's about to get dirtier still. On the apparently routine tail of two terrorists, he discovers the bodies of an ex-SAS officer and his family. Soon he's on the run with the lone survivor of the bloodbath - a seven-year-old girl. And whilst she can identify the killers, only Stone can keep them at bay - and solve a mystery whose genesis takes him back to the most notorious SAS mission in recent history....
Remote Control is the first of Andy McNab's blistering Nick Stone thrillers - best-sellers whose landscape is so compellingly close to the truth that they had to be vetted by the Ministry of Defence, and could only be published as fiction....

Gripping, totally shocking, twisting MASTERPIECE
Any additional comments?
I am sure you duly noted I used the M word for this title, this is not a mistake, this book is exceptionally entertaining. On more than one occasion I found my heart in my mouth whilst listening to the ever twisting hugely captivating storyline. I still have big bruises on my arm from where I kept falling off my chair.
Bravo Mcnab, once again. I take my hat off to you, this book really shows that you have a panache for fictional storytelling, not once did I find myself bored. I enjoyed every chapter slightly more than the previous one and didn't want it to end.
I found myself shocked and emotionally drained at times, because Mcnab's storytelling is that vivid, you feel like you are living every action packed chapter written in this book. Paul Thornley is fast becoming my favourite narrator, stick with him Andy because he tells your stories brilliantly.
Moving on to Brute Force next, loving the Nick Stone adventures.
Again, bravo. This book is simply brilliant. READ IT!
