Summary

I don't have time for mysterious strangers. Even the really hot ones.

I met him in a bar the night before I left to move across the country - and I never expected to see him again.

But then he followed me....

It would be creepy if he was just a stalker - but he’s not. He’s a protector, shielding me from a group of nutjobs who believe in dragons.

He saved my life - but now it’s my turn.

And apparently, the nutjobs aren’t wrong. Dragons are real.

And I hold the key to saving them all.

A Dragon's Sacred Mate is the first audiobook in the epic MPREG Guardian Dragons series. Featuring steamy dragons, strong omegas, and a shady organization hellbent to destroy them.

Nice bundle for the dragon fan.

This was a new to me series by known authors for me and it was a nice surprise. They did a good job in creating a world with dragons of all ages and standing. Other shifters and magical beings are in there as side characters. They all are being hunted by The Templars, which are the viillains throughout the series. The struggles of the hunted , if you want to, can be seen as a metafoor for todays society.
All the different stories have their own strengths.
The narration was good, but Idid not like the way they voiced Yuri.
I recommend this bundle if you enjoy lengthy fantasy audio books with hfn/ hea.

Mixed feelings

I hated the first book because the narration made it painful to listen to and would have given that one 2 stars, but then in another story the narrator would choose a voice that sounded good and the plot was better meaning I would rate that one 4 stars. Others were in between. Altogether 3 stars, and a great deal to get so many hours for one credit.

Good, not great

I found the baseline stories were good and kept my interest, however the stories are all very similar. Once you've listened to one, you've pretty much listened to them all. My main issue is the narrator. He's a little monotone, there's hardly any differential between characters, the attempted accents are awful, he puts emphasis on odd words and his cadence is a bit weird. Overall the stories are good but I found the narrator difficult to listen to, especially compared to others out there

Great series

I really enjoyed this series and the bundle is great value for money. I loved the community that developed and the universe that they lived in. The Templars were well drawn as villains and each dragon and mate story was different enough to hold my interest throughout the series.

Wonderful as books and audio

I read every book in this series as it came out, and before I listened to this audio bundle I went back and reread my reviews of each book. I wanted to see if the things I enjoyed were still there listening to this performance. Everything I loved was indeed there in this listen and the audio performance by J.K. Frysta increased my enjoyment. He has the perfect dragon voice - low and dangerous when necessary and also incredibly sexy when that is called for. He perfectly captured the voices and emotions of all the characters and kept my interest completely over the long time length of this bundle and with a series I already knew. The author does a superb job of world building in this series and knew exactly which characters to focus on in which books to draw you deeper into the war between dragons and Templars and open up the world without having to dump masses of information at one time. By the time the last book arrives and the new magic appears, we are fully invested in all the characters and the threat to them is truly frightening. The author managed to surprise me in some way in every book in the series either with a plot twist, come new and unexpected character or the redemption of a character I considered irredeemable. This is an amazing series and a steal for one credit.

Wonderful narration!

I enjoyed a lot every single book on this series, so having all in one place to read them in a stream was a nice treat but if you added a captivating narration made by Mr Frysta, bringing the amazing characters to life, and you got one of the best bundles ever. Also, the authors created a world from scratch with a very original premise and every installment helped to cement a very complex plot with all the characters and stories interwined with another until reaching an unexpected end. I loved how the authors used each book to add a piece in a huge puzzle until closing everything with a Golden clasp in one of the more exciting finale ever written. One of the best series written for Mr Bates and Ms Haven. An awesome gem to be heard again and again. WOW!

Interesting

This was an interesting series. I enjoyed listening to a different take on dragons and their mates. I loved that the dragons were more spread out and diverse. Knowing that they didn't all get along was nice to hear. I especially loved the villian Templars.

Terrific and intriguing series

This is a terrific and intriguing series, although I am still not sure the questions of exactly when and from where the dragons came were answered to my satisfaction. (The dragons say more than once that they are not aliens, but that they came from elsewhere. Not really an explanation.) I found it intriguing that these books ascribe much of the knowledge and secrets that some people think came from aliens to the dragons. I enjoyed the way the books melded together, with each book leading naturally into the next. I had listened to a couple of the books separately before, and it was definitely a pleasure to have them all together. Each book deals with a different dragon-omega pair, but the characters continue to appear in subsequest books, so they really need to be read or listened to in order to understand the larger story arc. Personally, I liked some books better than others. I found the first book hard to get into. Reece was stiff and distant, and I never really felt the connection between him and Matthew. I didn't really care for the dominant/submissive emphasis of Book 3 (Sasha and Lincoln) and the boy/Sir dynamic, but that's just me. I liked Sasha overall. Book 5 was very different from the others with neither of the two MCs knowing what they are. At first, I didn't think it fit, but it was definitely needed to reach the solution in Book 6. Book 2 with Tarin and Lucas, and Book 4 with Morgan and Tanner. were my favorites. I really loved how slow, patient and supportive Morgan was with Tanner, both in the mating and with the mission. Sasha provided great support to both of them. The focus on family, both among the dragons (Sasha and Morgan) and the humans (Tanner and Cameron) really touches the heart. Overall very enjoyable and recommended listen.

The narration was pretty good. I thought the voices for individual characters were pretty consistent from book to book.

A dragon Mpreg bundle🐉

This was an engaging set of stories with an equally compelling world building.
The characters were likeable, relatable and well fleshed out.
I love dragons so picking this up was a no brainer, and I don't regret it.
All the storylines were enjoyable and entertaining.
Jill Haven performed a great audio delivery as well.

Great Epic Series, Ok Narration

I love a good epic, that this one has all the elements I love. Fantasy w/ a fantastic world, M/M, and action adventure.

The story would have been better with a better narrator. He did get better after the first book. But he still had the cadence of reading to children. A bit sing song, a bit over drama without real excitement, and slooow.

That said, well worth the credit.

Dragons, mates, and an epic adventure!

This series started out as a highly entertaining romance and gradually transformed into an epic battle to keep dragonkind alive. Back when I first started listening, I never could have guessed how this story would unfold. It was such a genuine delight to uncover all the secrets of this universe, to watch dragons and omegas fall in love and then watch them put it all on the line to keep themselves and their loved ones safe. While each book in this series was a self-contained romance, the overall plotline was paced nicely so that each story built on the others to weave a satisfying, action-packed narrative all the way to the final showdown. I'll admit that I was on the fence about the first couple, Matthew and Reece, but I'm really glad I stuck with this series because each subsequent story got better and better. The narrator for these audios wasn't my favorite, but honestly I enjoyed the storyline so much that his narration style grew on me as I kept listening.

So good I want more!!

sometimes it can be hard to listen to a series back to back because of all the similarities you feel like you're listening to the same book over and over again and it gets very repetitive, get it 😝 I really didn't feel like that with this series I feel like yes there was some things that happened to everyone but each book and each set of characters had their own story I would definitely recommend to anyone who loves mpreg and shifter romance

Started a little slow

But by the 3rd book I was very into it.

There is a central storyline that runs through all the books and then individual romances.

All in all very interesting and well written.

I only have one issue and that is the length of time omegas lives are. That was depressing, so I am choosing to not believe it lol.

Dragons!

Dragon stories are some of my favorites. This is a pretty good set of stories. You get all 6 books in one set and you really can't complain about 48 hours of listening to dragons finding their true loves and raising families!
