Summary

I don't have time for mysterious strangers. Even the really hot ones.

I met him in a bar the night before I left to move across the country - and I never expected to see him again.

But then he followed me....

It would be creepy if he was just a stalker - but he’s not. He’s a protector, shielding me from a group of nutjobs who believe in dragons.

He saved my life - but now it’s my turn.

And apparently, the nutjobs aren’t wrong. Dragons are real.

And I hold the key to saving them all.

I just had an issue with the one voice

Overall I enjoyed the story. It wasn't just cut and dry, it had depth and a real story. My major issue was with Reece's monotone voice and old world vernacular. I would assume a dragon hiding out as a human would have updated his vocabulary in the last few hundred years as to not stand out. Especially using contractions. It was super annoying to me the entire time.

HOT & FAST MOVING IN ALL ASPECTS

I recieved The Dragon's Sacred Mate boxset for Free to Give My True & Honest Review But as I was slow in reading & leaving my reviews I brought the individual audios. And it started practically as fast moving as it ended. Where Matthew a Paleontologist who'd been trying to get physically into the work force until the night that he actually met Reece the old dragon Shifter who as soon as he sees & sents Matthew that's he's a Sacred Omega & he's going to have to keep him safe, not expecting him to go on a dig especially one of Reece's kind. Things move so fast for them especially in the bedroom but then I found some comical moments when they become ATTACHED 😘 But things don't go down as easy or simply when they find out who is financing the expanse dig. Fantastic book

Yes, I still like dragon tales

I haven't read or listened to a paranormal book about dragons for while and I thought this book was a good introduction to a new series. I understand some people felt that many questions were left unanswered but I felt there is enough dragon world building for me to want more. I also, I liked Matt and Reece and the the band of friends that have built around them. I am willing to give book 2 a go. It is the first time that I have listened to J.K.Frysta and he is now added to my to listened to list.

Dragon’s new beginnings

The nerdy scientist and an old dragon. Unusual circumstances happen when a sacred omega(clueless of his status) is found by a powerful dragon. I like the world the authors build upon dragons and humans, as well as wolves. It’s a new beginning for the species. Sweet and awesome.

Thoroughly enjoyable

As usual, Jill Haven and Austin Bates provide sturdy world building while sustaining an engaging storyline. My first time listening to JK Frysta and I really feel he rendered a stellar performance. Looking forward to the next in the series.

Worth it

Dragons, mpreg, action, and a HEA, all the good things. It’s a pretty good story that’s well written and interesting. The only thing I was missing is more dragon baby scenes and family time. The narration was really good too. J. K. Frysta brought this book to life by portraying the right emotions and giving each character a fitting voice.

Drama and action

Wow! What an interesting and intriguing storyline. I was sure I knew who the bad guys were, but I was wrong. They were so vile and soulless. It's a page turner to the very end. I loved how different Matthew and Reese, but love is the great equalizer . Great start to the series. The narrator did a good job. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this story and am giving an honest review.

Amazing story

I wasn't sure at the first chapter but by the second one, I was swept away in this fascinating world. I enjoyed how the story and characters were developed. The narrator also had an amazing voice. Look forward to the next book!

great series start

Would I listen to it again: yes Did the story keep me engaged: yes Was I invested in the characters: yes What did I like about the story? good pace, likeable well rounded characters, a little bit of background on the dragons to set the scene and an interesting story with enough content to set up the series. A Dragon's Sacred Mate is pure fantasy and providing you go in not looking too deep or questioning too much it's entertaining and I enjoyed it very much - so much so i'm diving straight into book 2 😊. J.K. Frysta is a new narrator for me. I enjoyed his narration and think his voice suites the dragon perfectly. I had no problem distinguishing characters or feeling the emotions of the story. If i was being really picky, there were times I would have liked stronger inflections in some places and a little more of a difference between the two main characters voices - but these are only minor critiques and neither enough to pull me from what was an enjoyable and well performed story.

Bit too simple

I likes the narrator a lot, his voice is sexy. Only issue is that i wish he had a bit more range to make the differences in characters more noticeable. His voice is so booming and deep that its sometimes hard to distinguish which character is talking. The story was really not that good. I feel like the world building and character development didn't do enough before it reached the first sexy scene to really get me to care about it. Its sexy but not much else to really get me to want me to invest any more time to hear more or to want to dive into another book. The characters just didnt feel fleshed out and were somewhat generic acting. The dragon guy just felt sorta dumb. He talks like he's never been on this planet before or understand the customs but it just doesn't make a whole lot of sense why he's in this weirs grey zone of understanding our world and not. It feels terribly amateur, like maybe this is just a author still trying to learn to write.

An interesting tale of dragons and love

Can a dragon bound by duty and protection actually feel love? Can a young man come to understand dragons are real and he is an omega capable of birth? The story line, characters, and narration all make this audio book outstanding. I highly recommend it and will now start book two.

There are Dragons with us...

There are Dragons with us. Unless you are touching them you'd never know. Omega's. and Tempest are unknown to still be active. Wow what a trip you will be on with this audio book. A must for your library. J.K. Frysta

New dragon mpreg

I really liked it. It's a different take on shifter mpreg. Hot sexy times. Great narration. Can't wait for the next book.
