Was patiently waiting for the male narrator just to hear him at the end of the book for 25min .. ok.
The story has potential hopefully it gets better.

The story line is good!
But the writing is lacking a bit. A lot of tell not show. And emotion or realization that conveniently just happen. And missing details that may be unimportant but make the writing inconsistent or lacking. It’s giving first-book vibe.
A very good performance from the reader tho !

3.5 It's a kind of familiar story, so I don't really know what to say without giving too much away. But I did like the characters and I liked the last chapter from Kane, so I will probably indulge in the other books! 😅

I loved how the FMCs character developed throughout the story. The chemistry between her and the MMC was electric. I loved the slow burn aspect. The plot is very interesting and I cannot wait to read the rest of the series to see how it develops.
