About this listen

When Feyre kills a wolf, a beastlike creature arrives to demand retribution for it. Dragged to a magical land, Feyre discovers that her captor is not an animal. As she dwells on his estate, her feelings for Tamlin transform from icy hostility into a fiery passion that burns through every lie and warning she's been told about the beautiful, dangerous world of the Fae. But an ancient shadow is growing, and Feyre must find a way to stop it....

Very short…. Not worth one credit… seems like it was just a filler between the two books. Should have been offered with the last one.

Short filler piece

So technically not really worth spending the credit on. This is a novella so it's not meant to be long. Unfortunately coming after the last 3 books which just got better and better this was a bit of a let down. I love the series as a whole and can't wait for her newest one.

It's mostly just a bridge to the next novel

Another great one. There is not one book in this series that disappointed me. I would read them again anytime.

Loved it

It was a good addition as it explores the characters further and highlights the effects the war had on them without brushing it away like it was a mild inconvenience. I also liked the way Feyra finally got to use her painting skills and embrace that more peaceful part of herself.

A nice addition to the series

this feels like a super short story after the last few books and feels like a bit of a filler. having said that it was still very enjoyable and a good listen. I believe there is one more book in the series so now I'm off to get that one.

compact.

I cannot express how much I adore this book series. There is a huge amount of depth to all of the characters and you experience the high and low feelings right along side them as their individual journeys unfold. The descriptive talent of this author truly sparks your imagination and invites you to see through the characters eyes. This book is my favourite. No big battles or quests, it’s about life, love and building a future. I am desperate for more.

Outstanding

This book is shorter than the others which I was initially disappointed by but after listening to it I'm not disappointed at all. it's an excellent book that has so many emotions in it and is brilliantly written. It has such an interesting perspective coming from multiple characters perspectives compared to the other books which I really liked.

shorter but completely worth it

Loved this book. It was just a simple book with each personality shining thru ready for the next installment

It was so well read!

Nothing really happens in the book regarding the wider story, it's more like a filler pause between all of the action. It is a pleasant and relaxing installment, and just a polite break to the fast pace as everyone comes together for Winter Solstice.

A peaceful bridge to the next book

I really enjoyed this short holiday novella, it was a relief to slow down finally and give our characters a break, to see everyone happy and relaxed. And it’s a perfect transition between books 3 & 4 🙂

A lovely short story
